Being as "She Who Must be Obeyed" has another appointment on Thursday Morning, for physical therapy. I have already showered and shaved tonight before I get ready to go to bed tonight. I again used the WTG-XTG-ATG method. Being as it has worked well and produces a great DFS Shave. I did get another BBS Shave tonight. Also I did get a BBS Shave again and I did not have any "Nick's or Weeper's" using this method. Also I did another "Ice Cold Water Shave" it was another superb shave, with BBS results. I used to hate to shave with "Cold Water" but using "Cold Water" is almost like learning a new superlative way to produce Superb results. I will continue using my Wilkinson Sword DE Blades. I did not need to put in a New Razor Blade again tonight. I decided to make another pass with myWeber 3pc. 85mm W/Classic Handle I did 3 passes total this evening. I did get a "Rudy Castiel Clean Used Car" aka "Rudy Castiel Clean Shave" aka BBS Shave! Tonight I again felt a little Razor Burn on my lower neck area, so I did use some RazoRock Alum Block. Tomorrow in the morning I will also put on some more Nivea Aftershave Balm, before the Captain's Choice Cat O' Nine Tails A/S splash. In the morning I might use "Captain's Choice Lime" A/S. Being as "She Who Must be Obeyed" enjoys the scent of it. I think I will let "She Who Must be Obeyed" decide which A/S.

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Rapira day 4
QCS Vostok SC :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
Barbon AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EdT

Finally I was able to use something else rather than a Stirling soap and I actually enjoyed it very much. The Vostok cream provides awesome lather really easily and although it's considerably less-mentholated than any of the Glacial soaps, it still packs a hell of a menthol punch with very good skincare. The Barbon aftershave increased that punch so nicely. My Rapira blade is still holding up well and I got another terrific BBS shave with little effort. ;) :D

    Tabacstag!
The streak is intact... I've still never been disappointed by Tabac. This morning I realized my neck is still a bit tender, so I went for a mild razor. My SC101 is mild yet very effective. I can usually count on no irritation or weepers, and today is no exception. Using my Rubberset today reinforced what I already know - I much prefer my HIS. The knot I put into the Rubberset is almost too dense for my preference. Now I need to decide if I should sell it, or re-knot it with a different knot. I'm going to find out if HIS knots come separately in 24mm.
I finished the shave in style with Krampert's Finest Acadian Bay Rum, one of my favorites in this scent family.

    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M

3 pass. Blade was starting to tug at the end so it went to the great blade bank in the sky.

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: WW2 Gillette Tech
    Blade: Bolzano Superinox (day 3)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Proraso Green
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Arko Ice Mint

I'm really enjoying thus Bolzano blade. Quick and effortless DFS + results after two passes, what could be better? I was briefly tempted to tack on a third pass and chase down the BBS, caution overruled. Switched out to the Arko Ice Mint AS for a nice cooling effect. My menthol products tend to not offer that feeling, so it was a nice surprise.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: Gem Junior
    Blade: Gem SS
    Lather: Arko Shave Soap
    Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: British Sterling

My face was still very tender from yesterday and I wish that I could have skipped the shave. However, my work environment requires that I shave daily. The last time I used the Gem Jr. I got one of my best shaves ever, so I thought I would use it again today. Big mistake. My face is now even more tender than it was after yesterday's shave. I guess I'll go back to my EJ DE89 tomorrow because I know that I can get a great shave from it without any irritation.

    Have a great day!

Proraso White tub for sensitive skin with menthol. This was one of the first soaps I used and it is still a favorite. The Rapira Swede and Slim are still chugging along. I got an excellent smooth, close, and nick free shave. I finished with Fine American Blend.

    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
    Razor: EverReady 1912
    Blade: Gem Stainless Steel
    soap: French soap mix
    Post: alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented

I used the Gem Stainless Steel blade for the first time today. It seemed a tiny bit rougher than a new Gem Carbon, but still very nice. I am hoping that the stainless will last more than 3 or 4 shaves, which is all I can get out of the Carbon blade. I have heard the Stainless will last much longer. After this blade is worn out I will try a Gem Stainless with Teflon (PTFE).

I remain convinced that there is no single soap/croap/cream that can perform as well as a custom mixture. I encourage people to try their own combinations to find out what works best for them. Today I went back to my french soap mix after 2 days using other soaps. This seems to be the perfect mix for me. My mix is:
    2 oz. Provence Sante
    1 oz. Pre de Provence
    1 oz. L'Occitane Cade
    1/2 oz. TOBS lavender
    3 tbsp Glycerin
Mix well and place into container.

Let's all have a great day.

A great 2 pass Darn Fine Shave + this morning. The TSD - Iced Subzero brought the chill this morning and the AV Ice Blue kept the cool feeling going. The Aqua H2O is going to keep me smelling great all day long. This Astra SP blade just keeps going. I am going to see how long that it lasts.

    Have a blessed day!!

hot shower w/Old Spice scented body wash
    Homemade PSO
    Parker 80R 3 passes
    Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (4)
    VDH Deluxe boar
Frankensoap sample in a warm mug
    Thayers w/aloe
    Old Spice AS

Little late posting. Busy day today.
Had some LASS Vanilla Eucalyptus Mint soap left in the bottom of my mug from a sampler and added the rest of a Musgo Real Oak Moss sample to it. For some reason the lather was a little thin even though I whipped up a bunch of it and I added water very sparingly. When I finished and rinsed the mug I noted there was a fair amount of product still in the bottom of the mug even though I beat it to death with the brush.
Easy passes today as I'm still a little tender from Tuesday's shave but we should be all healed up in another day or so.

Nice shave today. IMHO you can't go wrong with Proraso, and I really like the Clubman special reserve. Tomorrow will be an interesting day. It will either be my first ever shave woth an Open comb razor or it will be the first ever shave with a Single Edged razor. Should be fun.
