I live by myself--well and the cat too--but my home has 3 bathrooms--so I packed up the razor --soap/mug and a hand mirror and went to the main bathroom(only a shower in the master bath)---ran a hot bath and shaved in the tub--after I rinsed off my face, I turned on the jets(jet tub) for 15 mins and soaked in the jets--drained the tub and took a proper shower--sort of---its my gf's bathroom when she stays over(has her kids this weekend)---used her body wash and all--its not too girly(Dial) but a way different smell for me.

Off to cut my toenails while they're still soft.

Calgon--take me away---lolol


Took a good long time shaving--so a perfect BBS shave. Haven't shaved since Fri morning--so it was like coming out of my shell.

The Bigelow cream is great! First cream I've used since I started wet shaving and I'm liking the results. BBS in 3 passes. I don't get three passes with my soaps, which seem to loose their cushion. I also lathered the cream in my hand which seems to help me get a feel for how wet it ought to be. Overall great shave.

 

Thursday the 5th of August

Thursday the 5th of August was the first time for me to ever shave with a DE safety razor. Stingraysrock sent me:

After reading up on this site and watching some vids I gave it a whirl. It was not a very close shave, and I didn't go XTG or ATG. But I did it.

After 2 more shaves I can already see an improvement. I just need a lot more practice. I think I am hooked.
