Schick Type G Schick Blade (day 3) New Forest 2201 TOBS Lavender Soap Alum Block Aqua Velva AS Davidoff Cool Water EDT Yikes! Bad shave. A few weepers and the alum pointed out all of them. I don't know for sure what I did wrong here. The lather looked and felt fine to start but kept drying out and going thin. A bit more water and more whipping improved it but not before the shave was in the dumper. 2.5
Oyyyy, I am dumb dumb--I just read that last post from you now! :ashamed001 I used the Italiano one also this morning, and it was wonderful!

Absolutely phenomenal shaves out of this razor and blade combo. Hands down 5 blade BBS shave. I don't know if it can get better.:love055

Gotta love it when you spread the lather on your face, and it makes your eyes start to water! I do so love JoAnna's Wheat Cream. Lanolin, wheat germ, and loads of menthol goodness, all in one little tub! :love055

Tuesday... Ever-Ready Badger re-knot Arko Shave Stick Injector - G8 Pella (1) Alum Clubman Bay Rum The G8 is one of those razors that I have been meaning to shave with for a while. I broke it out this morning and it is a good performer. I got a near BBS shave with 3 passes and a little touch up. If day two with the razor goes as well, it is a strong contender for regular rotation.

Here are pictures of the cream and the aftershave I used today--they are both terrific. This was a bi-national shave, because the Everest cream is from Russia, and the Barbon aftershave is from Hungary.

Happy Tuesday From Florida! Hot Shower RAB Scuttle TGN Horse Re-Knot Speick SC Fat Handle Feather Portable Feather Blade (3) Cold Water Rag Witch Hazel / Alum Powder Blend Speick Splash Arko Sensitive ASB 3 Passes = 3 Blade Shave. This would have been a better shave, more on the lines of a 4 or 5 blade shave but the horse brush became horribly matted and snarled during lather prep. I probably should have started over but I did not. My experience with this horse brush tells me that my previous horse brush may not have been horse at all. Either that, or this TGN horse knot is junk? The good news is that I get to have another whack at it tomorrow! YAY!
