Just got the Spoiler blades in a recent PIF from Linuxguile (Thank You Very Much) and tried one this morning. What a nice blade! Used in the above listed combo, the blade performance was exemplary and a wonderful shave was had. Very smooth and effective, a BBS in 2 passes with a bit of touch up. My face is very very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    Razor: Personna Floating Head
    Blade: Gillette Twinjector (4)
    Pre Shave: DIY
    Lather: Proraso Red
    AS: Mennen `afta`/Old Spice Original
    Brush: VDH Badger

This morning`s shave was a real joy after all the different shaves in my `Comparison` experiment. With a 2 pass + an extra pass on just my neck, WTG/ATG,,,,, on neck, every direction I could manage, got it ALL! The 1st 2 passes went as expected. On the neck, a little more challenging. An almost perfect Shave, a little irritation my neck. Well pleased.

Below is a list of the shaves in my `Comparison` experiment and is MY OPINION ONLY: Not TSD or any member!

    1. On the 1st. day using the OneBlade Core, my meds quit on me, so about half way through I switched to the `Guard` and finished with a decent shave , using Proraso Red. 7/28/18 Sat.
    2. Day 2, much better, I found the angle kinda off and on. Very difficult. Did 2 passes, WTG/ATG and touched up with the `Guard`. A so-so shave, using Neutrogena. 7/29/18 Sun.
    3. Completed 2 passes, WTG/ATG, gaining experience with each shave, but the shave wasn`t so good so I touched up again with the `Guard` using Cremo, I`ll say a DFS. I`m wondering about the sharpness of these blades, and the mileage. Any info out there would really be appreciated. 7/30/18 Mon.
    4. Changed to the Gillette Guard SE. I did 1 pass, WTG and an all out clean up `Special`, using Cremo, coming out with a solid BBS. Too much clean up, so from now on, it will be at least 2 passes. The `Guard` is quick, 10 mins. from 1st. touch to cold water rinse. No irritation, smooth as silk all the way. 7/31/18 Tue.
    5. Using Cremo ( from shave to shave, it is more consistent) and the Personna Twinjector, I got one of the best shaves in recent memory. Near perfect.
    8/1/18 Wed.
    6. Using Cremo and an atra handle w/a generic cart a 2 pass, WTG/ATG, clean up, a BBS in 18 mins. 8/2/18 Thu.
    7. Cremo and a 3 piece Gillette Tech. that I got on TSD Market for 9 bucks, started to shake about 3 or 4 strokes at end. A BBS was surprising. 8/2/18
    Fri.
    8. Cremo and a Gillette Guard SE with a can of Walmart lather, a 3 pass shave, WTG/ATG/ every which way but loose. All passes were smooth and close. The 3rd. pass was mainly to my neck area, finally got those wild whiskers. 8/4/18 Sat.
    9. Walmart lather in a can and the Personna Twinjector, 2 passes + some lather on my neck, WTG/ATG/ XTG and clean up, a Solid DFS+. 8/5/18 Sun.

Conclusion: Wet shaving can be an art or daily task, your choice. The most outstanding thing I learned, is that you must enjoy yourself. The 2 things that stuck out most were 1. Cremo and 2. the Gillette Guard SE.

Local Gent Fields and Streams soap, Wild West two band badger brush, Razorock MJ-90 razor with a Rockwell Swedish Steel blade, Local Gent California Barber aftershave.

Two passes and a bit of touch up, decent, workman like shave, but still not in the league of the Rockwell/Astra combo.

    RECENT SHAVES
    20180804_095503.jpg

Prep: Occams Crushed Lime pre shave soap
    Razor: Gillette Superspeed Flair Tip

    Blade: Rapira SS
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetic
Soap: Cooper & French Old Goat
Post: Van Yulay 4 Seasons balm

Very nice refreshing shave. The C&F soap worked beautifully in this harder water, whipping up a thick lather with no issues and was really impressed with the performance. Scent of Old Goat is similar to OS and paired well with the 4 Seasons lotion.

    Prep: Occams Crushed Lime
    Razor: Gillette Superspeed Flair Tip
    Blade: Rapira SS
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetic
    Soap: Spiteful Soaps Backstabber
    Post: SC Courage balm

Fairly decent shave, did end up with a few weepers though. Backstabber has a light scent that is quite enjoyable and performance is not too shabby either. Finished off with Courage balm which was the star of the show, menthol felt great and moirtutizing.

    Prep: pre shave soap mix
    Razor: Razorock Hawk SE
    Blade: Feather Pro Guard
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Tiki Fougere
    Post: Stirling Mountain Men balm

Fantastic shave this afternoon. Love the vegan Tiki soap formula, amazing since it has a surprisingly short ingredient list, but dang it is great. Did the final touchups with no lather just residual slickness. The whole bathroom smells like a grassy florist shop and my face feels excellent. Hope everyone is doing well and getting the best shaves possible!
