I am traveling as usual and in Chennai, India. I have a lightweight kit with me this time - no straights and no strops. A trusty Merkur Futur…

    Hardware:

    Merkur Futur 3 passes 2 x #4 and 1 x #1
    Feather Blade on shave #2
    Alpha T-400 c/w 24mm silver tip

    Software

    Arko stick
Joe Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt

    Face lathered

A beautiful, close and slick shave. And yep - them’s gel-tips them is…

    Cold Water Wash
    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #270
    RazoRock Black Hawk
    Feather Professional
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #270 brush. I did two passes with the RazoRock Black Hawk Razor with a Feather Professional SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    "O" Clone injector razor
    Personna blade
    Maison Lambert Silver Tip brush
    Williams SS (modern)
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    M&L FLorida Water cologne

Another nice shave with the "O" clone razor. Easy to use, perhaps a bit mild but ended up with a nice shave. The M/L silver tip is a big brush but does make a nice lather that it gives up pretty easily. I'm happy with it so far. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    Razor: Gillette Guard
    Blade: Guard SE Cartridge (7)
Lather: Neutrogena Shave Cream (new formula)
AS: Mennen `afta`/ Old Spice Original
`Three Dog Night` by Old Foggies Antiques (White City, Or.)
    Newspaper Date: July 23, 1945

An unbelievable easy, smooth 2 pass shave, WTG/ATG with very little clean up. I could have stopped at 1 pass, but I wanted to make sure. The Neutrogena is indeed a new formula, somewhat slicker, but mostly thicker, which is an improvement, for sure. God Bless and great shaves for all.
By the way, a really great shave.

    Bill

The first thing that struck me with this sample was the sublime scent, and when lathered the scent softens and becomes even nicer.
I found it easy to lather, not something I can say about many samples, and the lather was very nice, cushioning and slick.
Where it falls down for me is the post shave. I don't find it drying but nor do I find it nourishing.
I may be tempted to buy a tub for the scent alone. It is expensive initially but because you only need a little to create a rich lather it probably works out cheaper than some.
    Happy Shaving one and all.
