Man, I must be get'n old, I'd have sworn that was a 54 coupe. Growing up, we had a 34, 36, 48, 53, 55, and I don't remember the next two but they were ford.

Another late night of running food around town. After a long day of selling a bed or two. I continue to add hours to my "side job" and the money is paying off but I will admit I'm losing track of days at this point. My mind will eventually catch up.

One nice thing about shaving at night is it provides a nice relaxing end to the evening. Day two of the Consul razor wide open and I grabbed the Wheatstate soap that @Drygulch gifted me at the meetup. I've only used it once since then so I figured it needed another round. While I'm not sure of the barbershop scent it is still very pleasant, and the lather was plenty slick and protective. After the shave I squeezed out the brush to check it and found it to be quite nice. I have the matching aftershave splash that I'll use before heading out in the morning.

The shave was a two pass, BBS with no issues at all. A very relaxing and comfortable shave. Now to try and catch up a bit, get all the necessary electronics on chargers and get some sleep in a bit. Have a great night and a better tomorrow!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the B-400 Brush by Tom. I did the first pass with my new Wilbert 5/8 Acme Razor. It did fine, but it still needs to have the edge refined. I finished off the second pass with the Gillette NEW Standard Tuckaway Razor with a Gillette Super Thin DE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I zoomed through a one pass touch-up, mostly for the scent and menthol chill. I'm happy with the result, but I'm amazed by the oodles of lather my 150 whipped up. The first year ss lived up to it's name. I finished with a mist of iced citrus musk.

Catie’s Bubbles La Terre Verte today. 20 seconds to load John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep in the Gillette NEW Long Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Last night's shave - 8/27/18
1. Shower - sample bath soap - Stirling barbershop - used it on body and hair.
2. PAA Frostbyte soap
3. SEMOGUE SOC Mistura (badger/boar mix) - with a FINE lather bowl.
4. PAA BAKELITE Open Comb Slant Razor - used a DERBY (2) - GREAT SHAVE!! 1st time using the derby on this slant, which i normally bind agrressive - but NOT with the derby.. great combo.
5. THAYERS Medicated Witch Hazel.
6. PAA Frostbyte aftershave/colgone.
7. Pea size drop of 444 balm from portgual.

A great shave but I'm a bit uncertain about this Honeybush's scent. It's not bad but it's not something I'd go running after either. The soap lathers beautifully and its skincare is also pretty good. Dave's balm was very helpful at soothing a bit of irritation I had gotten.
