The brush is a Burma Shave handle with a WD synthetic knot. Works pretty well, just a little scritchy. Like the Classic Vanilla too. So, I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.

PAA Pineapple Bay Rum soap, an experiment that turned out very well indeed. Great scent, fantastic lather.
Wild West Brushworks Fire and Ice two band badger brush.
An el-cheapo straight I bought off eBay just for practicing sharpening/honing. It's a Temperite from Case, the pocketknife company. Surprisingly, it sharpened up to a frightening edge, effortlessly plowing up hair off my arm. I felt like I therefore owed it at least one legitimate shave.
Finally, Noble Otter's Lone Star aftershave, a perfect tough guy scent and ending to this unusual shave.

The two band badger whipped up an amazing cloud of lather from the PAA soap. The scent on this is very rich and spicy. I really like it.

There was so much lather, in fact, that I had enough for three full passes and touchup, and I still ended up washing so much down the drain during cleanup that it felt like a crime.

The El-Cheapo straight did a fine job, producing a very good quality shave with minimal blood. It was very noisy while doing its work. Not bad for ten bucks.

This will be different for me. This morning`s shave was so mixed up, it doesn`t even warrant a photo. I tried the Leaf with just 2 blades in the lower slots, thinking mild and moderate would work for me, not so. It felt good to begin with, but I couldn`t hold the edge, it would either not cut whiskers or it would cut me. It just isn`t the razor for me, so there is a return policy. Believe it or not, I ended up using my Gillette Tech, for touch ups. I got it on TSD Market for 9 bucks.Go figure. I guess it`s a Blessing that we still have tomorrow. Go with God, Bill

Pre-Gillette Rotbart / Supermax BDT. I added my shave oil back into the mix, I can't say how much that improved the shave but this was a marvelous shave. The Rotbart has more gap than the Single Ring, even locked up tight.[IMG]

Not a bad shave, but the scent isn't really for me and although I didn't find it drying, the post shave is nonexistent.
    Not one I'll be buying.

Today's shave was with a 1/4 Hollow, English Razor. I had a glass smooth 2 pass shave, like nothing was there, that left me BBS. Excellent razor.

Razor- Stirling Razor Works. 1/4 Hollow.
    Brush- Omega 10098 Boar
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented
    Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice

Thank you Doug. I'm a bit of a leather fiend, it's a new saddleback leather product I've given one of my treatments to.
