    Date:- 22 August 2019

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush:- Vie-Long Synth. Silvertip Extra Soft Faux Horn 27/52mm knot
    Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Soap/Cream:- Valobra (4 shaving sticks press into a 250 ml plastic tub)
Razor/Blade:- RazoRock Game Changer .84 / NOS Wizamet Super Iridium #2
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male

I'm very impressed with the RazoRock Game Changer .84 which is very very close to the Karve Christopher Bradley 'C' base plate (0.85mm) less than 0.01mm aggression rate against the Game Changer 0.84mm, I cannot fault both razors in my den, because, they're both shave very very much the same side by side as a daily driver. Both Karve in Brass and Stainless Steel and also the RazoRock Game Changer .84 are all very smooth close shaver in my den and a real keeper.

    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Sandpiper
    Soap: Stirling Sandpiper
    Razor: Vintage Gillette Fat Boy
Blade: Vintage Gillette Spoiler Super Stainless (10)
    Brush: Elite Razor Manchurian White-24mmx50mm

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Sandpiper today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Palmolive Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #206
    Gillette New Standard
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWR
    English Leather AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. Palmolive Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the Gillette New Standard razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Arko Aqua AS Gel
Reef Point Fougere Santal AS Splash

This Lord cream is from Egypt like the Shark blades and let me say this - both perform beautifully. These blades are very sharp, but at the same time they’re very smooth as well as forgiving. The Lord cream has a beautiful sporty/minty scent, just a small dab on both cheeks gives enough thick, rich lather to bury your face and there’s a small menthol sensation. The Arko Aqua gel is so soothing, it smells very nice, and it gives a great cooling sensation. The Fougere Santal aftershave from Reef Point has a most delightful scent and it’s loaded with menthol - my darling wife gave it to me as a gift a couple of years ago along with a super good shaving soap from Soap Smooth. She bought them both from Italian Barber. Two passes did the job for me - no way could I be more BBS than this!

Gem Jr. w/baton handle + Gem Stainless blade
    Schick E3 + Personna blade
    Pal Injectomatic + Personna blade
    Omega 10066 boar brush
    Omega crema da barba
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel with aloe/Viking Citron balm
    Daxton A/S

As y'all can see, this was an interesting shave and not a particularly good one either. Started with the Pal after I tried to do some repairs on it as it would not, and evidently still doesn't, hold the blade properly. Since that didn't work, I grabbed the E3. Must have buggered the blade when loading the razor cuz it hurt like crazy. So onto the Gem Jr. That one worked ok and I was finally able to finish the shave but due to all the hoo-haw, my face is not really happy. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Waiting for guests, I wanted to be at my best (which, by the way, is the average worst for an average looking human!).

Soap was great even if fragrance is not the lavender I would expect normally.

But razor, coupled with the green blade, was superb!
Went back to a lavenderish lavender with the EdT!

ADP, as you noted, does not have the same post-shave feel that I get from the latest artisan batches that I prefer but for me, second behind XPEC in overall performance in commercial shave cream. A pea-size is enough for my typical 2 pass shave so this jar has lasted a long time for me. In my den four years now and 1/3rd at best has been used and if I remember right it is 4 oz in the heavy glass jar. Good stuff but expensive.
