    I wouldn't categorize this soap as a "Bay Rum" scent. Yes, there's Bay, but it's a secondary scent:

    You'll notice no hint of clove, but rather Allspice.

    I will say this, Indian Bay stands alone. It does not try to be a Dominica or a Mike's. If you approach this soap expecting the stereotypical Bay Rum, you will be disappointed. It did not disappoint me at all. I wish the AS     wasn't sold out.

    Yes. I got a bottle that I wanted for a while now. First wearing since I bought it. Great stuff. Very 'niche' but great.

    One pass each with two very basic se blade holders. Both the Burham pat. 1909 and Gem Featherweight were loaded up with Gem Ted Pellas. The Shave Den's own Florida Water type shave soap let those setups make short work of a couple of days growth. Very simple, old equipment provided a smooth, irritation and cut free shave.

    Why Wednesday
    The why today is mental health. This soap helped raise thousands of dollars for the JED Foundation. Oh, yeah, it performs among the top soaps today. I felt the splash was a good match to the scent as well.

    The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #395 2-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 3D TNNSER razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
