Prep: Warm shower / Nivea Men ~ DEEP CLEAN Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Wilko Men's Shaving Oil.
Brush: Omega 11047 Mixed Midget.
Bowl Lather.
Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather : Cella.
Blade: Gillette ~ 'NOS 94' Super Silver Platinum. (6)
Razor: Pearl SBF-11.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade lavender eucalyptus +Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./Quorum ASL.
Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Another excellent razor & blade duo.....The Cella performed wonderfully providing me with a good slick protective lather leaving a superb post shave feeling to my face.

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Tesco ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

The apple is for after... aftershave?

It's a bit windy today, but it's a damp day.

I wanted something fresh, but I also wanted to try, finally, a soap that intrigues me since ages.
I've been looking for a soap that smells like black tea for a long time. Tea fragrances (green, white, lilac, blue...) are redundant, but black tea fragrances are very rare.

When the sample arrived I opened it with trepidation and smelled... I don't know what!
The closest thing to it was 4711, not a 'clone' like Arlington, but not remotely the beloved Earl Grey (the tea, not the politician: in those days personal hygiene was not much and I don't think I would have liked it).

I even thought it might have smelled cat and suddenly disappear, but it did not happen.
I'll have to try it again hoping to replicate the same thing that happened with the Castle Forbes Lavender.

The growth was minimal and I armed the razor with a very sharp blade and, together, they performed excellently.
But the black tea fragrance... is missing!

It is known that the olfactory perceptions from samples are rarely the same as from the commercial packaging and I keep my fingers crossed!

The Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #206 2-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

New Forest Tubby 1 Silvertip - SV Desert Vetiver - Broman SE/Permasharp - Vetiver EDT by Guerlain

Post night shift....I needed a treat. The SV was so slick I had to check the razor to find out if it was actually cutting anything. The Broman is mild and requires some pressure.
3 passes for a very good shave indeed....and I feel properly pampered
