On the first, maybe second shave on a blade, when screwed down fully in the least aggressive setting, it can have some bite to it. That's why I use the smooooooth BiC Chrome-Platinum blade to help tone it down some. The reason I untwisted it a quarter-turn this time is because the blade was on its 4th shave and I've found it starts to take more swipes to get BBS than when it's on its first shave. I wanted to test if it could shave more efficiently on that 4th shave and with a more aggressive setting and....it does! So, that helps me extend the blade uses. I think I can get another couple of high quality shaves out of each blade now.

Prep: Warm shower / Nivea Men ~ DEEP CLEAN Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Wilko Men's Shaving Oil.
Brush : Unbranded Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Frankensoap : (Grated) Arko Shave stick + Dettol Original Anti Bacterial Bar Soap & Palmolive Classic Shave Stick.
Blade: Gillette ~ 'NOS 94' Super Silver Platinum. (8)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade lavender eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Arko ~ Cool A/S Cologne + ASB.

Last shave with the Gillette 'NOS 94' super silver platinum blade on it's 8th outing it's gave me consistantly error-free comfortable near BBS shaves with each shave with no tugging or dulling issues.
I won't be putting the Gillette 'NOS 94' blade into retirement just yet, as i intend to carry on using it in future shaves. I feel this blade can give me another 3-4 shaves until it starts to lose it's edge. I intend to find out.
Another pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Arko ~ Cool ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
