I have a lot of Feather blades to use up 3 packs of 20. Then I will give them a try. They cost less! I wish I had discovered them before I bought all the Feathers!

The shave started nice enuff but, I had to turn down the setting from 7 to 5 as it bit me 3 times on my neck! After that, it was smooth going. All I needed was a 2-pass shave and got VERY close. I can shave with my Slim set on 7 but not this one! WTG and ATG with no cleanup. Very sharp blade! I could prolly use again but, I will bin the blade and use a fresh one. I have LOTS of blades to use!

The Ogallala doesn't need much to make tons of lather. And it lathers quickly! Yesterday it got the brush handle so slick, I flung the brush across the bathroom while applying lather to my face. I apply with gusto! LOL

Rain moving in today so, no riding the bike. There is a music jam at the senior center at 10 so, that's where I am off to! Geetar in hand!

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #188 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Double Edge Razor with a Schick Super Chromium Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Gillette Menthol cream is from Europe - either from France or Italy, perhaps even the UK and I forgot how good it is. The scent is old school barbershoppy in a nice way, the lather is a pleasure to work up, it has a very good middle of the road menthol sensation, and it has pretty good skincare. The Prep and the Skin Bracer aftershave felt wonderful afterwards. This Wilkinson Sword blade is at the end but it gave me one last hoorah with a terrific three pass BBS shave!

ASRazor shave, August 2nd 2022

Razor : Ever-Ready Streamline, 2nd generation, Mfg 1949-53, excellent mid > upper mid range depending on experience, well made to last, blade stops are set forward for more blade feel IMO, very attractive razor and with good technique you can crank out some awesome shaves. There is a slight different learning curve with this razor compared to a regular Gem but very enjoyable shaves once mastered with excellent results.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (10) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood, very nice scented soap(some clove) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Artic Sky 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel face cleanse +Ogallala Bayrum with sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Ever-Ready 2nd Gen Streamline with a coated Gem blade.

This lovely John & William Ragg is somewhere between a near wedge and a quarter hollow but has been providing consistently fine shave as of late. Today was no exception Sadly, my Baume.be is almost empty and it seems to be out of stock in all my usual places. Anyone know what’s up with that?
