Thanks! The Incorporeal is a very nice unscented soap: good lather with a slight aroma from shea butter. The splash feels great, better than simple witch hazel.

 

DE SOTD, Saturday August 27th 2022.

Razor : Gillette Fatboy E3- Mfg in 1959 3rd qtr- well built adjustable, feels good in the hand + a joy to use.
Blade : Gillette silver blue(1) sharp & Smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender nice mid range scent with excellent lather qualities.(discontinued)
Brush : Yaqi Purple haze 24 mm synthetic- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great splay scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(7) + ATG(7) + pickups(8).
Post shave : King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Gillette Fatboy with a GSB blade.

I purchased this tub of soap second-hand in '08 and never much liked it until recently, when the little frugal voice in my head insisted that I finally use it all up. Somehow, the passage of time has improved both the fragrance and performance of this soap. I got a superb shave today out of this setup.

 

I feel the same way! It took me a while, but now a cold water shave feels so comfortable and refreshing.

 

I’m glad you liked the soap this time around. I’m running through old soaps myself now. I like the Slim.

Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D2)
Razor: Weishi 2.0 Adjustable (Settings) wtg 5, atg + pick ups 6.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Hawkridge ASL./ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up this morning paired together superbly.

The Weishi 2.0 Adjustable/Feather Hi Stainless duo was a smooth efficient combo...The Weishi Adjustable performance on it's higher settings work for me wonderfully.

Another enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

I've been a shaving enthusiast for some 15 years now and haven't found a razor yet that beats the Slim for overall user-friendliness. It's rare that I ever nick myself with a Slim.

Next in the use-it-up queue after the Mama Bear's is a sugar bowl half-full of the finely-grated and blended remains of various and sundry nearly-used-up shaving soap pucks with some stub ends of Yardley bath soaps thrown in. It's delightful.

Oh la la did I ever freeze my face off this morning - the Glacial Obsidian is like all the Glacials - it’s EXTREMELY cold. I love the black licorice scent, like all Stirling soaps it’s tallow based so it gives marvellous lather with lots of slickness, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of icy cold bricks, and the skincare is numero uno. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave felt heavenly afterwards. Lately I’m really enjoying the Brut’s awesome old school scent. A special thanks to my treasured 1950s Super Speed for another A1 three pass BBS shave!

The Arko Shave Soap lathered well with Semogue Owners Club boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
