Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Franken-lather: Ingram Menthol +Derby Menthol Shave Cream.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D1)
Razor: SNMIRN Adjustable. (settings) 4-wtg,8-atg,+pick ups.

Post:

The Ingram+Derby Menthol franken-lather & Benjamin's Mentholated Bay Rum is a wonderful combo making making my early morning face & head shave a pleasurable cooling experience.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #444 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Variant Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A couple of weeks ago I received a humongous package from Kolkata, India that was loaded with all kinds of awesome soaps, creams, and aftershaves - this Vi John cream was one of them. I wanted to mention that this cream is very popular in Indian barbershops and it’s apparently extremely cheap. It has a mild but very pleasant clean, soapy scent, a small dab on both cheeks gives fantastic lather, and it’s very skin friendly. The Aveeno moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Florida Water has such a nice old school scent. I was kind of in a rush this morning so I only did two passes but I still managed to get an excellent BBS shave.
