Razor : Yaqi Mellon V2 316 SSP with a Yaqi tear drop 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2023>, tame mid range, well made and slightly more aggressive than the Yaqi Mellon head V1 Zamak model. Had a close shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP(4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity with some irritation.
Soap : Razorock Don Marco , nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "orbital ring" 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle hairs, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Alum + Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + some irritation Operator error+ 2 weepers Operator error=: had a great close shave with my Yaqi Mellon head razor with a Gillette 7oClock SP blade this morning with some irritation and a few weepers (operator error- dulling blade + rushing).

Last night I changed my mind at least five times before I finally decided on this setup for today. This Vintage Spice soap and aftershave are two precious treasures that I must have at ALL times. The scent as I keep saying is so gorgeous - it’s EXACTLY like the discontinued Shulton Old Spice, the soap’s tallow formula promotes such wonderful lather with lots of slickness, and such soothing skincare. The Aveeno moisturizer is unscented so it works perfectly as a balm, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns and it has that same delightful scent as the Shulton Old Spice - not only that, it lasts all day. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #444 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Variant Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
