Razor : Gem Micromatic flying wing(AKA=Guiding eye, MMBT)- MFG 1947-50, mild to tame mid range depending on the # of shaves on razor. Well built and designed to last generations with a little care. This is the mildest of the 3 different micromatics variants IMO. I receive nice shaves with a fresh blade with this well built razor has been my findings over the years.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (1) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm 3band silvertip, excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very nice brush to use with a decent handle to hold while enjoying those few moments in the morning shave.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavada cream, nice bright lavender scent with a touch of mind + excellent lather qualities.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavada with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave this morning with my Gem Micromatic flying wing with a coated Gem blade.

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #444 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Variant Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My dear friend Abir who’s the owner of Captain Nemo makes AWESOME soaps and aftershaves - they never cease to amaze me. His Blend 47 is very nicely scented - it’s eucalyptus and sort of similar to Proraso Green but much nicer. The soap is vegan based, it gives great lather that has lots of slickness, it has a good middle of the road menthol sensation, and it’s very soothing for sensitive skin. The Prep is so wonderful for my skin as well, and the Blend 47 aftershave toner contains no alcohol so it won’t sting or burn, and it’s VERY mentholated. Finally the Versace Dreamer fragrance which is very nice - it was a gift from my sister-in-law. Three passes did the job for me - another tip top BBS shave that was fit for a king!
