The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with SlimGem Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Open Face Damaskeene Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Williams Menthol cream is awesome - to be honest it’s one of my favourite creams and I’m so happy because although this tube is running low I have two brand new back ups of it. The scent is lovely, just a small dab on both cheeks is enough for great lather that’s so thick, rich, slick and protective, the menthol sensation starts off mild but then it starts to hit harder and harder, and it leaves a really comfortable postshave feeling. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave were a perfect finishing combination. Two passes this morning but a terrific BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

For the first time since I got sick this winter, I did a full wet leg shave. I was concerned about being out of practice, but all went well, with no cuts or nicks.

Post shave- lotion stick (also something I make.)

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 1.5mm V1 316 SSP with a Chippendale handle (Darwin looking)- Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Machining and finish QC are top notch. I use a shallow angle(riding the cap) works well with this razor that other fellows have also mentioned, riding the bar works but not as smooth & close a shave IMO! Had a close shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(10) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Will always have a tuck of Kai SS in the Den.
Soap : Razorock "The dead Sea", nice unique scent with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorite addictive soap scents!
Brush : Yaqi "Aqua" 24mm 3band high mountain badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Interesting handle with a ever so slight prickly feeling every once in a while, very enjoyable brush.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock "The Dead Sea" AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent close shave morning with my Yaqi Sentinel 1.50 mm V1 316 SSP with a Kai extra wide. Great combination of razor and blade for excellent shaving IMO.

This razor came in yesterday and blew me out of the water. The razor head is Zinc but the fit and finish is amazing. The razor comes with three base plates..... 1.15, 1.35 and 1.55 mm gaps. You can choose scolloped or a smooth cap and your choice of several stainless steel handles. The best part is the price....right under $20.00.

This razor shaves well above its price point. It reminds me of the Yaqi Sentinel which is stainless steel and the shaves are close.

Three very nice passes. I'll try the 1.35mm plate out in the morning.
