Nocturne must be a new one for ZM.

 

The most recent release (last fall) was a collaboration between Barrister & Mann and Zingari Man. Prior to that it was just a Barrister & Mann soap.

 

How did they work out that collaboration?

 

That is my understanding too.

 

From what I read at the time of the release by ZM, B&M sent the original formula to ZM, who produced the soap.

 

Ohhh OK. Kind of like what's going on at Fine these days-his Italian agent sets up the soap and Fine is where you buy it(talkinabout his new 21st Century" soaps,( of which I have one-his "Latigo" dupe).

 

Not exactly the same. The ZM/B&M collaboration was a one off. Nocturne was never very well received no mattter who produced it.
As far as Fine is concerned, they were forced to go to Italy to have their soaps produced a couple years back when the original supplier in the Netherlands went under.
Which is a shame, because the original triple-milled tallow hard puck soaps were, in my opinion, far superior.

Frankensoap: Erasmic Shaving Soap+Cussons Imperial Leather Bar Soap+Van Der Hagen Scented Luxury Shaving Soap.

Oh la la my face is so damned frozen once again - my dear brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa created two treasures. This Peppermint Latte soap and aftershave are two menthol atom bombs with such a lovely espresso/peppermint scent - the soap’s tallow formula promotes magnificent lather that’s so thick, rich, creamy, slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation feels like liquid nitrogen on your face, and the skincare is A1. The Prep gave me tons of extra moisturizing and soothing - it’s my favourite balm, and the Peppermint Lime aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns, its scent is so gorgeous just like the soap, and it freezes like there’s no tomorrow. Three glorious passes gave me such an amazing BBS shave that I thoroughly enjoyed!
