Wednesday morning - close to being a Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash This Frozen Tundra is so awesome - it’s the second coldest Stirling soap after the Glacials. The scent is beautiful - it reminds me somehow of the Glacial Wintergreen, just not as intense, its tallow formula promotes fabulous, super slick lather, the menthol sensation is potent, and the skincare is great. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me plenty of soothing with a nice menthol feeling, and the Aqua Velva aftershave went on icy cold - do I ever love its old school scent. Another terrific three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely! Wishing you all a good day - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mom had to be brought back to the hospital from rehab due to a flare up of bad diverticulitis. So it’s been even crazier if that’s possible. My brother having this afternoon off I went for a shave. I grabbed my new brass Karve Overlander with the Project X handle and going through a rough time I decided to use Summer Break Soaps Steady which was created in collaboration with r/wetshaving’s Shave Against Suicide with 50% of profits donated. The Karve Overlander was purchased about a month ago. I was on the site when I saw the brass was available. I jumped on it and I’m really glad I did. It shaves so smooth I wasn’t sure it was actually cutting hair. I had to check more than once that there was really hair being removed. And it was smooth in all directions. Even ATG, for me most times a no go, was smooth and easy! I had won another gift card to Karve on Insta so I grabbed a Project X handle and a brass stand and they were in the last batch of things Chris shipped into the US! Woo hoo! And it is really nice and a joy to hold! I’m really happy I was able to get this into my den before the ceasing of shipping due to tariffs. It’s been a rough few months. Mom fell and needed surgery on her leg in the beginning of June. She then had a cognitive episode in mid July which required a short hospitalization. Then a week and a half ago another fall and the broken hip and arm. She had progressed to rehab when her diverticulitis started to flare up and she was brought back to the hospital. To say it’s been a lot is an understatement. So when picking a set today I went with Steady from Summer Break Soaps. With the collaboration seeking to bring attention to mental health and our need for each other when times get hard to remain stable and Steady. Never be afraid to reach out or be there when someone else reaches out. Steady! It was a great shave. There is a lot still to do to get mom back on track. There is still more to take care of. There is still more I must face. I must do by best to stay Steady! - Shared from My Shave Den for iOS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
