SoS: August 25, 2014 - August 31, 2014

Didn't feel like menthol monday So shaved off two days of growth with a New razor, cells and finidhed with some Clubmans aftershave. The new razor is a bit weird. I like it but it feels mild like a tech but it can bite eery now and then. I haven't cut myself but it I have felt thr blade on occasion. I think i need a few more shaves to really learn and get the most out of this razor. Oh and Happy Birthday to Jeff's Dad

Looks like he has trash day figured out. We have plenty of bears here in NC. Where are you?

 

Florida. Central Florida. I'm living a block away from the house I grew up in after age 13. (we still have that house too) When we moved here 45 years ago the common occurrence was gators crossing thru the neighborhood from one pond to another. Now with their shrinking habitat we see bears often. Also coyotes, racoons, possums. etc.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Culmak soap. Good, thick, cushiony slick lather.

Hot shower the essential start for my day. Followed up with a facial wash using Axe Peace.
I built my lather from Mystic Waters Marrakesh, with a Omega 48.
Razor blade comb, Super Adjustable and 7 o'clock black
Osage Rub for the final touch

 

gotta watch out for them bears, Lovie Smith, brought them here from Chicago.

how did you supercharge it?

 

Thank you . It's a small dropper bottle of the type that I use for my homemade pre-shave oil. I like to use the smaller decants to mentholate aftershaves, etc. without having to compromise an entire bottle of the store bought product. I also stole your idea of using the small, spray pump bottles. Both seem to work well and eliminate the 'finger over the hole' drip problem with AV and Skin Bracer.

 

I added four or five menthol crystals to the small bottle (60ml). It puts it about on par with Osage Rub.

 

He needs a shave..

I add menthol crystals to my AVIB, and a couple of others.
