    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Aristocrat TTO Open Comb
    Blade: Bolzano (day 2)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Proraso Green
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: WitchHazel, Arko Ice Mint

Today's shave was not a nice as yesterday's. Some tugging on my neck with the first pass, and a small nick, followed by a bigger cut on my neck with the second pass.

Everything else was good though. BBS results on my face, DFS on my neck and the slightest hit of menthol from the Proraso Green when I lathered up for the second pass.

I remembered the post shave this time and hit the two nicks on my neck with witch hazel and Arko Ice Mint. The Ice Mint went on with a hint of cooling, but it faded quickly. Once I stepped outside that cooling sensation returned.

Prep: warm wash with Stirling Naked & Smooth
    Lather: IanSoaps (etsy seller)
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M horsehair
    Razor: Gillette New SC
    Blade: Sharp Durablade stainless
post: cold water rinse and Captain's Choice Bay Rum

Today was the first try with a Sharp Durable from my TSD sampler. Smooth and no issues that I could detect with the blade. The lather was a little difficult this morning - think my brush was too wet to start and had to work it a bit to get less air and more slick.

    Have a great day.

    Wednesday:
hot shower w/Hugo Naturals Mexican Lime & Bergamot bar soap
    Maggard Lime PSO
    Gillette BlackTip SuperSpeed 2+ passes
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum Black (4)
    VDH boar
GFT Extract of Limes soap in a warm bowl
    Thayer's unscented w/aloe
T&H West Indian Limes AS balm

Stopped to purchase some lemon witch hazel yesterday but the store was sold out so I perused the soap aisle and picked up some Hugo Naturals Mexican Limes & Bergamot bar soap and deodorant. The soap performed quite well and has a very pleasant scent. The deodorant is very dry so it works best if you wet your skin before application. Now I need to take a trip to Maggards and purchase some of their Limes & Bergamot shave soap to go with.

    Odin's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Oakmoss
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Asco SS: Red (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (5, 6)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS splash
Cologne: Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d' Orange

A day's worth of stubble awaited this AM, as I skipped yesterday's shave due to the comfort of my bed and a required early morning start. This was one of the reasons I decided to try letting the Neutrogena sit on my face for a few minutes to really soften my beard. The extra soak was worth it, as I wound up with a very comfortable two-pass DFS, with no hint of irritation or bloodshed.

I find that the scent of witch hazels don't last long at all. My routine is that after I apply the witch hazel, I do my clean up, which includes razors, sink, and brushing my teeth. After the clean up the scent is mostly gone, and then I go for the AS, whatever it is that day. I do like the PC AS though, one of my favorites.

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Cocoa Butter Bath Soap
    Soap: RazoRock Classic
Razor: Gillette FH Tech/Maggard MR1 Handle
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (1)
    Brush: oscar11 TGN 2-Band Finest-24mmx50mm
    Aftershave: Clubman

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

I tired my MR1 handle on my Fat Handle Tech today. I loaded up a new Personna Med Prep and lathered up with the new RR Classic. I got an excellent smooth, close, and nick free shave. The extra weight and better grip made for an even easier FH Tech shave than normal. I finished with Clubman.

    WEDNESDAY
über-smooth 3-pass shave this morning with the Goldedge.
This razor is my standard for smoothness upon which I gauge how well I've honed the edges on all my other SRs.
Nearing the end of my Valobra Fougére—love this soap, but tolerate the fragrance. Unscented puck, next time…;)
A manly splash of the Marlborough & I'm ready to face the day!

    Have a blessed Wednesday, all!

It will feel good, but you will definitely not notice the rose underneath the Clubman.

    Razor: Weber w Bulldog Handle
    Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (D6)
    Brush: Semouge 830
    Bowl: Suribachi 5” bowl
    Pre Shave Soap: MRGLO Lime
Pre Shave Oil: Eucalyptus Peppermint Vanilla
Shave Soap: Catie's Bubbles Purple Grapefruit
    Post: Monster Alum Block
    Aftershave: TSD Subzero
Couple of first this morning for me; highly renowned Weber razor and Catie's Bubbles Purple Grapefruit. The Weber took a little getting used to as I ordered with the shorter bulldog handle when I normally use the longer classic style but once dialed in provided a DFS when paired with the Gillette Bleue Extra. Purple Grapefruit is a French style soap and has a wonderful citrus scent. Combination of Pink Grapefruit and Lavender that really work well together. Six swirls on the soap from the 830 was all that required to produce enough lather for a 4 pass shave but only needed two this morning. Both are definitely keepers in my book or say spreadsheet as I have way to much shave gear.

    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
    Razor: EverReady 1912
Blade: Gem Stainless Steel with Teflon (PTFE) (2nd use)
    soap: French Soap Mix
    Post: alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented
    AS: Sampson's all natural

Back to my french soap mix today because I just am thrilled with this combination. I look at mixing soaps the same way I look at going to a buffet - you can always find something you like. 2nd use on the Teflon gem and smooth as silk. 3 Passes and BBS. BTW - I have modified my passes to XTG, XTG (180 degrees from first), then ATG. For me it works very well on a heavy beard. I had been going WTG, XTG, ATG, but was not getting as good as I liked and frequently had to do 4 passes for BBS (adding a second ATG at the end).
