A very good shave but I had so little time to do it. Instead of using my Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap I used the Solo Menthol cream which smells fairly nice, has rich lather, but a very mild cooling sensation as opposed to the ungodly freeze that a Glacial soap gives. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream and Snake Bite splash delivered tons of soothing and iciness. It's a fluke that I didn't cut my face to pieces because a Parker R22 is quite a bit more aggressive than a Super Speed! :happy088: :happy088:

    Star 3 piece razor
    Rainbow Stainless blade
    RazoRock Plissoft brush
    TSD Lemongrass SS w/2x menthol
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/menthol
    TSD Lemongrass A/S w/2x menthol

Do Stars and Rainbow's go together? You bet they do and resulted in a really nice shave. I'm really liking these Rainbow blades too, they work very well for me. Smooth, comfortable and close. So I"m ready for my Dr. appointment and the rest of the day. Oh,Oh....today is $.50 corn dog day at Sonic Drive Inn. WOOT! Now go enjoy your day folks.

I wasn't aware that the Lucky Tiger cream is ice cold.

Not ice cold but it's about a 7/10 on my menthol scale.

    Soap-RazoRock Essential Oil of Lime

Another great shave with the E3. I'm not a big fan of injectors, but I'm always drawn back to them. This was a great DFS/BBS (can't decide). I have to say that this new bowl really generates a thick, rich lather. I'm using the same technique, brush and soap, but the lather is much better.

    @Linuxguile Thank you Andrew. :happy088:

Thanks Doug. I do love using all the Route 66 Soaps. I am going to try to stick to 2 or 3 soaps at a time and use some of this stuff up. Finished up Frozen Margarita this weekend but still have a cabinet full. :happy097:

Thanks Mark. I think today will be a great day. Hope you have a great Wednesday as well.

Slim Adjustable set to 7 *
    Voskhod Blade
    MDC Face Lathered
    3 passes and very smooth

    * the Voskhod is the only blade for which I set my adjustable down to 7. All other blades I use 9. but, I can't seem to get an error-free shave with the Voskhod blade and the adjustable set to 9.

    Razor: Schick Injector J1
    Blade: Ted Pella (4)
    Lather : Nivea Gel
A/S" Nivea AS balm/Brut Splash On
    Newspaper Date: Feb.3,1944

A 2 pass shave, 1st pass, WTG, a smooth, no problem pass with no problems, smooth and easy all the way. The 2nd pass, ATG with no problems pretty much like the 1st pass, smooth and easy. A cold water rinse, no nicks or weepers. A clean Kleenex test. A detailed clean up, strokes in all different kinds of directions, resulting in a sound BBS. Wishing the same for all.
