Went back to the trusty TECH today. Pretty effortless shave but not particularly close. The lather I got from the Body Shop shave cream was nice and rich on the first pass, but after that, it fell flat. The stuff dried out and got real foamy and thin. Perhaps I needed more water. Oh well. The Clubman provided a classic finish. A very decent start to the week.

Well I tried to stick with modern blades for a few weeks and had to give up on a second shave with a Gillette 7'Oclock Yellow and a Dorco 301 only lasted for 4 shaves. Put in the Schick Plus Platinum and had a great shave, I'll bet I get 6 more out of it also.

However, if anyone wants a taste of heaven, just try whipping up some D.R. Harris Lavender shave soap with a Semogue 2000… I kid you not; the resulting lather is a heavenly pleasure.
