Because of a cataract in my left eye, I'm a little nervous now to use my straight razor. I'll wait til after the surgery, and then I'll get back into it. This Karo Fresh cream is so delightful--the menthol is light, on about the same level as Arko Moist, but the scent is much nicer, and the lather is much richer. The Wild Rain gel smells terrific, and soothes the skin very well.

The T&H cream was pretty good. I received a sample of it from a B&B member. I don't think I'd buy the full-sized tub though. It's not that spectacular.

Felt like the lather was drying up a little after my first pass, so I added a few drops of glycerin. Solved the problem nicely.

Previous three days shaves have been with the 'L' type injector with the Chinese Schick blades. Not a bad blade, but I prefer the 'twins' in this razor.

This morning I tried a new to me blade that was laying around.....until it called to me. I picked up a few 5 packs of these as a throw in on a deal a while back, and tossed one in my fatboy for the hell of it. I wasn't optimistic, even though I'd heard good things about some of these older Wilkinsons.

This blade is excellent, much to my surprise. I knew from the first stroke it was gonna be a keeper, and it only got better as the shave went on. Picky as I am about blades now, this thing is a kick!

I had to check and make sure the setting was on the right number because I could not feel this blade on my face. Talk about forgiving, yet effective. The razor fairly waltzed without effort over my face, helped by JoAnna's concoction I'm sure. She makes a pretty darn good soap, and I liked sniffing the coconut this morning.

This blade isn't quite as sharp as the Iridium or SharpEdge, but it's close. I could easily use these every day without issue, except once these ten are gone there ain't no more. They would make a great blade for a beginner.......lots of room for error with these.

Great, relaxing shave. The Weishi is making a good impression; so far it works well with Dorco 301, Astra Superior Platinum, and Crystal. Only the 7 O'Clock SE gave a bad shave. Tomorrow night I'll try a feather.
