    My shave today was not too bad, all things considered. I had lost count of the number of shaves on this blade but this was the last shave with it, and surprisingly didn't get any irritation, just 1 weeper by the lip area. I love the scent of the British Leather soap, and it paired well with Wild Country and the bay rum. Hope everyone had a great shave!!

    The Proraso Green Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #1 Silver Tip Badger brush. Two passes with my Schick I2 Hydro-Magic razor and a Personna SS Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Old Spice Cologne

    Not as bitterly-cold a set-up as lately but still colder than cold enough to satisfy my menthol cravings. Damn, I love the MITA soap's scent, it's so easy to lather, and it delivers very well on the chill. It gives great skincare in addition to everything else I said about it. There's nothing wrong with the Gold Bond moisturizer or the Penguin either - they're both terrific products which lay a nice chill on you! ;) :D

    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Post - Cold water, Alum, Nivea, Aqua Velva Ice Blue

    Second shave with the 1912 and it was every bit as good as the first. I keep thinking how much of an improvement this must have been to the guys who put their straights down to try this newfangled safety razor thingy. Had to be mind blowing for them. Two passes and I was done today. For its fearsome appearance it's pretty much a baby, at least through two shaves. I have no doubt it could be deadly if technique goes awry but for the two days I've used it I have no complaints. I seriously had thoughts of making it my daily shaver when not playing around with all the other stuff I do. It's that good. IMHO anyway.
