It's hard to improve on perfection Kevin, and you had a pretty darn perfect edge on that ODH when I got it for the test drive :happy088:

I use a small spoon to take some Cella or shave cream out of the container and into my mug to bowl lather. It keeps containments and moisture from getting in. I finished off a jar of Cella a month ago and that seemed to work.

Mrs Samurai detests Osage Rub immediately after application, but she likes it after an hour. Osage really mellows on the dry down.

Now that's a set-up I can relate to. Very nice.

    T&H Pre-shave Oil
    T&H Lavender Cream
    Savile Row 3824
    Schick G4
    Schick blade (2)
    AOS Lavendar After Shave Balm

First time out with the Savile Row. The experience with its bulb shape was such a noticeable difference after focusing on the T&H Wellington fan shape for the past month or so. Of course, it felt great on the face but I'm going to have to stick with it for a while to get my lathering technique down. Second time out with the G4. I love the looks of this one and the shave felt too easy. Fortunately, I managed to avoid the trap of being lulled into pushing it too far.

This is kinda a local shave as Razor is from Cammell Laird ship yard (15 miles away) Brush is only 10 miles away and the soap is 12 miles.

Razor, Cammell Laired 0172 steel Ivory scales.
    Brush, Dickinson&Gilroy's
    Soap, Signature soap

The shave was OK, I tried some different hones on this razor and it was just not smooth enough, I will sort it out for the weekend as its a nice looking razor imho even if there is a crack in the scales

Razor: Valet Auto Strop/ Red Tip(3 blade)

Brush: WDC-4 Silver Tip Badger Butterscotch Handle (VIG) 24/67 deep set
    Cream: Real Shaving Company
A/S Afta After Shave Skin Conditioner

A little better shave with the Valet tonight. Very light pressure if any while shaving with it. Red Tip finish helped much.

L'Occitane Cade soap, bowl lathered (forgot to include the bowl in the pic)
    Rooney 1/3 Ebony/Best
vintage WWII era Gillette Fat Handle Tech
NOS Personna Super Stainless blade-[2] ( U.S.A. version)
    Alt Innsbruck aftershave
first shave with the L'Occitane soap. very good, I probably would've been more impressed had I tried this vegan soap before I tried WSP Rustic. Just as good performance wise but I prefer the WSP scents.
As always, the Personna SS is as good as anything, better than most.
