Left cheek is still a bit sore so I am using products I know for now, nothing new. Just 3 WTG passes on my left cheek. But that in mind still a pleasant shave.

    Razor - Superspeed
Blade - Gillette Platinum (day 2)
    Lather - Cella
    Aftershave - Proraso Sensitive.

I have one of those Wostey I-XLs on the bench awaiting my attention and a new set of scales. Your experience with it encourages me to bump it up in the queue. ;)

° Personna store brand uncoated stainless
    ° 1950s TV Super Speed
    ° Williams clone w/Omega brush

Was still good from yesterday but felt like a shave. BBS, no issues.

Alum/menthol WH and Brut Splash...this is really weird but on a whim I dropped some menthol crystals into the Brut along with about 4 droppers-full of my WH blend. Shook well and the usual Brut fragrance almost vanished - it's now a ghost of its former self - dethroned by a pronounced woody/citrus note, as best I can describe it. Not bad at all, just very different and unexpected - I never knew Brut had any woodiness or citrus buried underneath.

Produced from 1955 -1960( this is a 1956), the Blue Tip super speed was advertised as a 'Light ' model of razor. With the knurled aluminum handle, it was lighter that the plated brass handles of its counterparts. It was favored my ladies before Gillette marketed the Lady Gillette. Along with the Blue Tip, there was a Silver (Flare Tip) medium, and a Red Tip, Heavy.

This is a mild shave. A again, not one of my favorites, but it does do the job.[IMG]

I can't speak for Don, but I can say I really like the M-Bomb.
I'm not a fan of using cooling menthol everyday, but should I be so inclined to get mentholated, 4-6 drops of the M-Bomb onto whatever soap puck I'm using gives me the refreshing chill on those sultry summer mornings (or evenings).

It's good stuff! I recommend that you give it a try. It goes great with the Lime Sec. In fact. I have some menthol crystals and may just decide to mentholate the whole bottle.

I wonder how much it would effect Van der Williams Mixture ? Maybe I should try some of it.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
Razor: EJ DE89 Head w/ Weber Classic Handle
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue (1)
Lather: Body Prescriptions Clean Citron Shaving Cream
    Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Old Spice

I used a shave cream that my wife picked up for me at T.J. Maxx. I got decent results, but don't plan to use it again anytime soon. It doesn't lather. It's plenty slick, but I like a nice thick lather for it's cushioning effects. This creams provides absolutely no cushion. All in all, though, it was a good, close shave.

    Have a great day!

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream
    Semogue 1305 Boar Brush
    Schick Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic
    Schick Stainless
    CWR
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Semogue 1305 Boar brush. Two passes with my Schick Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic and a Schick Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a warm water rinse, alum block, and cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
