Got up too late to shave yesterday, but I fixed it today.

    TSD 2XIced tea tree soap
    Simpsons Berkley 46, face lather
GEM Micromatic SE, GEM SS blade
Alcolado Glacial splash, and Gillette intense cooling balm

This was a nice two pass DFS+. Got up a little early today to make sure I didn't run out of time. Smooth and Chilly. When I drop my daughter off in the morning she gives me a running commentary on the quality of my shaves. She tells me if my face is smooth or is have to do a better job shaving. I love it. I should get a very good grade today.

    Have a great day.

Guys, read the review that I wrote on this new Proraso White soap and you'll see how fabulous it is, and then get yourselves a bowl and I guarantee you'll love it. The Visal gel and Osage Rub are both so icy, and I need all the cooling I could get today, because it's going to be as hot as hell! ;) :D

Razor: Merkur Blue-Handle 38C HD Barber Pole
    Blade: Feather
    Pre shave: Proraso
    Brush: Vulfix 1000A
    Soap: Tabac
A/S: Thayers w/ Aloe then Proraso again

Tried the Feather for the first time in my Super Speed a week ago. It was giving me good shaves in that and I wasn't cutting my face up. Figured I would try the Feather in the Merkur. This has got to be my closest shave to date. I also didn't tear my face up. I was even able to shave almost ATG and not have a lot of irratation. Looks like this will be a fine combination.
Ive got some TSD Lanolin on order. Will be interesting to see how that compares to the Tabac. Still need to get myself a scuttle, the small bowl I am using to make lather is too small.

I bowl lathered with the Salters Sandalwood and the H.I.S. brush. I'm thinking this brush is a bowl lathers dream. This is a nice soft brush that gives up it's lather readily. Truthfully, a nice shaving tool. Very nice shave this morning. Have a good one.

    Proraso PSC
    Al's Shaving Cream - Boheme
    Semogue 820 Boar
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Brut Original ASB
    British Sterling Cologne

So far it's been a 50/50 process with the Muhle R102. I am still trying to find a consistant stroke angle for this razor. It's performance window is so narrow; the slightest miss approach and it will bite! I will work with it and try to find that sweet spot but for now it's not a favorite razor by any means. :think002:
