Great shave with the General today. 2 pass plus touch ups and I’m off with My Lady to pick up some final minor things for the Christmas weekend and festivities. Have a great day and great shaves Gents.... ;)

Thank you! Yes, I debated enlarging the predrilled hole in the bottom but I felt it needed a cool stand to make that work... so I took the easy road and drilled the top. I like how it leans back and it fits great in the hand.
The Plisson’s wooden handle was splitting so seemed like a good donor knot.
Got a few more I am working on :).

    Sunday's planned shave:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
Stirling Gin & Tonic on the Rocks SS
    Gold Bond Moisturizer
    Alt Innsbruck AS Splash

How can I ignore such a wonderful soap? It's been too long since I last used it and I can't wait. The same thing about the Alt Innsbruck aftershave - it smells awesome, (my wife hates it, though!) and is it ever mentholated!

Brought this brush down for a friend. Interesting handle made of a synthetic waterproof wood. The knot has more backbone than I remembered and was very face friendly.

I conquered the Muhle R41 today! Bbs smooth no issues.. the brush is super floppy and I’m probably goin to have to reknot it. The soap is a nostril burner.. I can’t explain the scent but it’s totally an air freshener scent.

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Colgate Mug Shaving Soap
    GarnerPW IX
    Gem 1911 Lather Catcher
    Original Gem Cutlery SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Speick

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Colgate Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the GarnerPW IX synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Speick AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
