Tonight's shave was with a Japanese razor. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, with very minor touch-ups, that left be BBS. Zero issues. Just a very smooth shave.

Razor- Japanese "Coral 1070". For professional Barbers Use.
Brush- Omega Boar
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented
Aftershave- Vintage Shulton Old Spice. The wife requested it.

How about a change of pace. Today had a couple of those for me including getting to change a flat tire before coming home. Haven't had to change a tire in years! Guess it was my turn.

Decadence tonight came in the form of the Delta Echo New LC with a Ladas blade. I've always had this blade in my top 5 or so and just don't load it up too often. Not sure why. Decadence on decadence would be the Jayaruh #54 with El Caballero soap. Fantastic creamy and slick lather, and enough to go around for everyone. Great scent too and my wife likes it a LOT so looks like I may need to keep this one around.

Three full passes just because I can, the baby is in the house, and all's well. If you don't count the donut on my right rear wheel. But, that gets fixed tomorrow. No worries or complaints. Too much decadence to finish the day to let anything throw me off my game.

Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Vitamin E Oil, Pinaud Clubman

I've been wanting to try one of these razors for a while now, and when Iain, a TSR member, kindly offered to loan me one, I thought it would be rude to refuse.
I started off at N which is No.3 out of 6 settings.
Because it's an unfamiliar adjustable, I went straight into the wiry grey hairs, to try and gauge the razor. After a couple of strokes, I loosened the handle, turned it up to 4, re-tightened the handle and never looked back.
This is a very efficient and very smooth razor, as good as the Red Ring at about half the cost.
As with most new (to me) razors I gave it the alum test, no reaction.
How smooth did it leave me?
As smooth as the well polished runners on Santa's sleigh.

I am sure it is the same for most people...It's a bit of a rush finalising everything for tomorrow....but I did manage a 3 pass BBS shave to set me up for the day. The light razor required the 3rd pass....even with a SuperPro loaded. Looking forward to a nice glass of Port and a Mince Pie this evening
