  [*]Result: Very comfortable BBS shave today. Did get a bit too much water in the cream. Still got a nice slick lather but no the usual body to the cream. Love the TSD Signature scent and the '41 Ranger Tech did a nice job without any blood.

 

Thanks! I managed to score two full bottles of it, then (stupidly) sold one.

Needless to say, I ration out my remaining bottle to myself with great care.

I really like AV Musk AS, but it can be a little overpowering. I have started cutting it half and half with C.O. Bigelow witch hazel, the result is a great scent, that is subtle and a lot more wearable.

Tuesday: a true Antique shave!

This shave was as vintage or antique as possible-My Saba (grandfather in Hebrew) of dearly cherished memory used this razor, and it worked great for him, and this morning, it worked great for me! Here is what it looks like:

 

How do you modify the blade to work in those?

to be honest, I don't. I just put it in, and I shave. I use each blade for an average of 3 shaves, and then I change it.

 

So just the regular double edge blade fits.. or a single edge blade works.. i am asking cause I have one that I would love to try out.
