    Tuesday 12/30 . . .

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
[*]Brush: Knotty Badger refurbished Ever Ready 300 Silvertip
      [*]Cream: SCS Tea Tree
[*]Razor: '09 Gillette Old Type with Single Ring Handle
      [*]Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (shave 8 )
[*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
[*]A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & Pinaud Clubman A/S
      [*]EDT: Tabac EDT

[*]Result: WooHoo! Super smooth BBS shave without a drop of blood today. The good old single ring and SharpEdge blade made mincemeat of the whiskers today. This shave was one of my best ever. Everything involved seemed to go just right from great prep to perfect lather from the SCS cream to just the right lube from the Last-Pass Shave Oil to just the right amount of EDT. Wish this would happen everyday.

  3. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    Shavemac 22mm silvertip
    Fatboy/ 7 0'clock sharpedge
    DR Harris Marlborough SS
    Lucky Tiger AS
    Storer 'Monk' EdP

Ahhhhhh, the perfect shave today. The kind where you do a few extra waltz steps with the razor cause it feels so nice. Hehe, hopefully searching to find even a small spot you mighta missed....just to keep things going a bit longer.

No effort at all in guiding the razor where I wanted it. Amazing feel of no blade in the razor......like shaving with just the safety bar. Hehe, of course, those kinda shaves can go south quickly if I start getting a little sloppy.......doesn't take much. I purposely had to make an effort not to use this thing like I did years ago with my M3. Yeah, it was that easy of a shave.

The results are worthy of spontaneous faceturbation (already indulged in a 'few' times).

This shaving thing isn't too bad............

    Wednesday 12/31 . . .

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
[*]Brush: Knotty Badger refurbished Ever Ready 300 Silvertip
      [*]Cream: TSD Sweetgrass
      [*]Razor: '48 Gillette Super Speed
      [*]Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (shave 9)
[*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
[*]A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel & Nivea Extra Soothing ASB
      [*]EDT: 4711 Cologne

[*]Result: Very smooth BBS shave today. A great way to ring out the year. Did get a careless nick on left side of mouth. But some styptic and a bit of pressure with some TP did the trick at quelling the blood flow. Something about the Sweetgrass scent that really refreshes me. Maybe the cinnamon scent I get. That's all for 2008. Have a Happy New Year and see ya all in 2009

New Years Eve: Musgo Real Lime preshave soap / 1947 Gillette SuperSpeed / Bolzano blade d1 / VDH brush / Arko Shave Stick / Truefitt & Hill West Indies Lime Cologne

The combo of the '47 Gillette and Bolzano gave me the smoothest most comfortable shave to date, it was marvelous. The T&H West Indies Lime was a present from my bride. It is fabulous!

Been an Anthony Logistics kind of day:

Whipped up some AL shave cream with my trusty Mayfair. First time using this cream. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of lather and how well it performed before, during and after.

Slapped on some Al Astringent followed by a dose of AL Razor Burn Repair lotion.

Achieved total hair domination with a little AL Hair Gel.

Only thing left will be to hit a good aftershave before heading out. Can't decided between SCS Bay Rum w/ a Twist or Proraso Splash :signs002

Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve everybody! :happy088::git:eatdrink004
