Turned the adjustment for the Doehler-Jarvis all the way down and found it was too mild, so I opened it back up to to be on the first mark, and seemed to work better for me.

Still not completely happy with the shave, so I'll call it 3.5 blades.

This razor is just plain scary sharp. The shave was almost effortless and even a quick two pass shave was mostly BBS. Thought about Osage Rub before the Clubman but then figured it was cold enough outside already.

The menthol in this Top Ten cream can hardly be felt, but it is still very good stuff. It has a nice scent, with super-rich lather, and it's very moisturizing. By the way, it's from Bulgaria.

Yep, my shave this morning makes the fact that this will be my third day in a row working 12+ hours worth it!

Performance of Vulfix 2234: Excellent
Performance of Fraser's cream: Excellent, in terms of both cushion and glide.
Scent of J.M. Fraser's Original: Let's change the subject, shall we?
Performance of WH/Speick Balm finish: Super--it formed an invisible barrier against the cold, dry air (0 degrees F this morning). The old Brylcreem saying, "A little dab'll do ya!" applies perfectly to Speick ASB. It's easy to over apply.
