Oh, the Christmas holidays are soon going to be here!

Here are my shaving plans for tomorrow.

Menthol Monday:

Not as intensely cold as I usually do it on a Menthol Monday but still pretty darned cold. The Neutrogena facial wash has plenty of menthol in it to wake you up, it smells nice, and it's also very skin-friendly. The Italian Palmolive Menthol has long been one of my favourite creams - it has everything I love because its scent is awesome, its lather is a pleasure to work with, and it's a good menthol bomb with terrific skincare. The Gold Bond needs no description, and the Max Refreshing aftershave from Bulgaria smells a lot like Polo Original, and is it ever frigid and soothing.

The ARKO Stick face-lathered well with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush. Two passes with my Merkur 37c Slant and Feather Hi-Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Combo-lather tonight with the DRHarris soap & my favorite cream, Mem. Fantastic lather and comfy shave.
I need to start incorporating more of this cream into my mornings…and I don't mean in my coffee.

Menthol Monday
Well, a little menthol at least- provided by Proraso Green pre barba. I decided to use my Plisson, since I have not in a while, and this week I will see how many shaves I can get from a Voskhod blade in my Aristocrat. I got an excellent shave today - no weepers or irritation. I went N-S then S-N on my neck, then some touch up as my stubble there grows in swirls... Usually I shave in an X pattern on my neck, so this change is a positive one so far. B&M Petrichor works great - easy lather and a pleasant scent.

I switched the base plate on my gillette new from a long comb to a closed comb. The shave was not quite as close as it is with the long comb, but still very nice.
I just wasn't in the mood for menthol today, so I used LPL instead.
