Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

    Sunday - Cheap Week

I made a poor decision today. Instead of my usual Sunday MWF shave, I decided to embrace the spirit of cheap week.

Williams Mug Soap bowl lathered with Omega 49
1960 Fatboy on 7 with Astra SP (3)
2 passes, cold water rinse and fnish with Family Dollar Spice aftershave

The Williams lather was too light and airy and drys out my skin, so only two passes instead of the usual three.

Why is it the dog or cat never gets sick on the bare kitchen floor? Nope, always on some sort of fabric just to make clean up difficult!
    Hope your kitty is okay!

    Sunday

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Soap: Stirling Spice
    Razor: Maggard MR1
    Blade: Personna Blue Lab (2)
    Brush: Omega 10066 Boar
    Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I was back with my Maggard MR1 the Personna Lab. I lathered with the Stirling Spice. The shave was close, nick & burn free. I finished with Krampert’s Frostbite for a little extra kick.

He's fine. As far as I can tell, he paradoxically gets sick when he's hungry. Did I mention the vet wants him to lose weight?

I've got my slim, but the fat boy still eludes me. Right now I am using my Schick M adjustable. I think I may like it better than the slim.

Nice shave this morning. This is the only Holler I have, it's a good shaver. I wouldn't mind finding another. Have a good one.

It was a great two pass near BBS shave with the TOBS Lavender SC face-lathered with the Semogue 1305. The Schick M did a masterful job of removing unwanted stubble. After a CWR, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS.

    Sunday: What a shave! :happy069: :happy108:

Hot shower followed by two hot towels and a facial massage
L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
    #6 Horsehair
    Dovo Bismarck 5/8
Williams Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Svoboda AS Balm :love055: :love055: :smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
Mennen Skin Bracer AS :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

If this shave didn't take an hour and a half to complete, it didn't take a minute. I had so much fun and enjoyment even with my prep. The L'Oreal facial wash started the iciness beautifully and the Williams Menthol cream which seems to be discontinued gave me a hell of a chilly jolt with its rich, thick lather and beautiful scent. The lanolin in it gives fantastic blade glide so my Dovo Bismarck was able to knock off my tough stubble so easily and comfortably. The Svoboda balm and Skin Bracer felt so cooling and refreshing. My wife said to me, "sweetie, not even a professional barber could shave you that close!" ;) :D

Shave Soap: Prairie Creations DdC Ancient Sedona
    Post: Monster Alum Block
    Aftershave: Davidoff Cool Water ASB
Today is the 7th time I have used Prairie Creations Ancient Sedona DdC and haven't even made a dent in this soap. DdC is turning out to be one of my favorite soaps. Only need five-six swirls of the brush on the soap to gather enough soap to whip a bowl lather for three pass shave. Great lather, the slickness for the blade pass is top notch as is the post shave smoothness. definitely in my top five of shave soaps.
