    Fri, Dec 23
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap/Creme: Cella, red tub
    Razor: Racer
    Blade: Astra SP
    Pre: Shower and glycerin soap
    Post: Witch Hazel
    Hair Groom: Gables creme-oil
Result: Good, better than I expected. I'd had somewhat poor results the first time I used a racer, but it has a dark green handle, so paired with my Cella soap it made for a good holiday razor. With the Astra Sp blade it gave a quick, easy, ccs to dfs.

    The Slant Arrives:

It was the stroke of 4:21 when the Bell rang. I opened the Box to find Cella Shave Soap, a Milk Fat Bath Bar, and...A Merkur Slant 37c

A big thank you to Gary at Shoe Box shave, who went out of his way to assist me in my selection.

It's a nice shaver, and only aggressive if you apply too much pressure. Also, never pass over an area that needs more lather without putting a dab more on. Tiny bleeder, but MY FAULT.

I will need a few shaves to get it down, but had a very nice DFS+ with a brand new razor, and went easy for the most part.

I am looking forward to getting acquainted with Slanty, as Randy said :)

Here are the two brothers resting under my shave list. Thanx for all who helped.

    Proraso Preshave
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
    Merkur 37C Slant (1)
    Gillette 7 o'clock Dark Blue (1)
    TSD Bourbon Vanilla Balm

A late post for Friday morning shave.

Sorry I haven't been around much but my daughter has been sick. Her temperature hit 105F last night and we ready to take her to the hospital when the fever went down to 100F. Two trips to the doctor in three days, but they think they have it figured out and she seems better. Finally got her to bed, and I have some time to read and post.

    This was my first shave in bit and I wanted to try a new soap so here it is;

    Proraso pre shave balm
TSD 2X Iced Tea Tree Soap
    Omega Boar, 10015, face lather
GEM Micromatic, GEM SS blade (D3)
    Alcolado-Glacial and Proraso ASB

The TSD 2X Iced Tea Tree was very nice, a bit different from Mama Bears Awakening, but a very nice soap. Great lather, great scent, left my face feeling good through a long day. I liked it alot. I did much better with the GEM Micromatic than on previous days, I would say an easy DFS in three passes. I was pretty pleased with this shave.

    Merry Christmas

    Keri unscented moisturizer
    Booster Polar Ice AS :love029: :love029: :love029: :love029:

This morning I had a very nice "Brazilian Barbershop-style" shave - the Palmindaya cream is used in barbershops over there, and it's an excellent product. The scent is lovely in a very traditional and old-school way, it has a great cooling sensation, the lather is so rich and easy to create. The Polar Ice aftershave is one of my top favorites. (Too bad Madame doesn't like it!) ;) :D
