    Wednesday-Hungary Today!

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Spice Bath Soap
    Soap: Figaro
Razor: ’59 Gillette Red Tip Super Speed Flare
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
    Aftershave: Figaro

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

Bulgaria today! I pulled out my Red Tip this morning. I just got the Figaro this week. I got it because I liked its cousin, Barbon, so much. As expected, I got easy, smooth, slick lather and a great shave. It is hard to beat $9.89+shipping(from the US) for both the cream and the aftershave!

    WEDNESDAY
Prep: Hot shower, Shea Moisture Face Scrub, Citrus PSO
    Razor: Böker 5/8
    Strop: 3" Whipped Dog
    Brush: Whipped Dog 30mm Silvertip
Lather: Shea Moisuture Shave Butter Créme
    Shave: Two passes
Post: Rinse, Alum block, Black River Bay rum & Shea butter cream

First time trying the Shea Moisture Shave Butter Créme with a straight. It doesn't lather, but when applied with a brush goes on like a slick, spreadable cream. I really enjoy using the stuff with DE razors.
The crème is pretty thick and I certainly wouldn't recommend it for use with a multi blade razor as it would clog up with every pass. For the straight razor, however, the créme provides a real nice glide, and wipes easily off the blade after each pass. Additionally, my skin beneath feels moisturized and quite nice. Two passes with the SR and I called it a day. Darn near BBS. Only my 10th SR shave, and it gets a bit easier each time. I'm still a Sloppy Stropper, but getting better at that, too. :)
    Have a great HumpDay everyone!

Can't neglect those quality DEs now, Bruce. Otherwise you'll wind up selling them off as I did. :)

Day off Shave! Wednesday December 4, 2013- Another nice day in the Ozarks but it looks like we are in for a good snow in the next couple days! Im kinda excited!

Prep: Hot shower, St. Ives Blemish control apricot scrub
PreShave: Homemade Preshave with Glycerin, Peppermint Essential and Tea Tree
    Brush: Van Der Hagen Boar
    Razor: Gillette Fatboy
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock
    Soap: Tabac Original
    PostShave: Osma Alum
AfterShave: Witch Hazel+Peppermint Essential, followed by Proraso Pre/Post, Once everything absorbed i splashed on the Lucky Tiger Aspen

Notes: I have to give out a special thanks to LUTEPLAYERS for the Tabac soap and Lucky Tiger aftershave. I recently received it in the Secret Santa gift exchange! The Tabac soap is amazing and lather's very easily, it moisturizes my face and provides great protection for the blade. The Lucky Tiger is a nice fresh smelling aftershave to splash on once your done shaving, i noticed the smell sticks around for quite a while. This was my first time also using the Gillette 7 O'Clock blades and i loved them, they were smooth and i had no problems that came up after the shave, very very nice.

Picture Notes:This is just right outside my house here in Missouri, mabe the next photo will be with snow on the ground!

Not sure why, but I fall into a menthol mood when the cold of winter kicks in. ... for a week now:

    Warm shower
    Omega Pro boar
    Ingram SC
    Merkur 23c w/ Astra
    Cetaphil gentle cleanser

2 pass DFS every time! I know the Ingrams isn't the coldest of the lot, but a cold water rinse after cetaphil when its 15 degrees outside mentally feels like a plunge in the arctic ocean (not that I'd know what that is all about). Besides, I like the lanolin in the Ingrams.

No problem! I find myself using it in between shave days also. As I do not shave everyday, it's nice to splash on your face before you head out the door in the mornings.
