Tabac Thursday's Shave

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 brush. I did two passes with the Stahly Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Then I clearly don't know what the heck I am talking about! Thanks, Tommy.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Not quite a BBS but still a very good shave. It's been a long time since I last used this Mama Bear soap and to be honest I think it's good but there are better ones. It smells nice, the lather is excellent, the menthol is very cooling but it seems to be lacking in the skincare department because I had to use twice as much Prep to relieve the dryness. This Bergamot Vetiver aftershave stings like crazy, but then it feels icy cold and soothing. My wife says it smells great - yayyyyyyyyy!

The E3 whizzed around effortlessly and efficiently, aided by the slickness provided by this wonderful smelling soap.

Battle of Wardonia is joined. Both 1931 issue, both terrific. Winner of hearts and minds has to be the New Edge proprietary design, for while the Old Type clone shaves exactly as expected, the New Edge, with its total lack of bottom blade support,, always surprises with its smoothness and efficiency.
