Yeah....PAA seems to do that with some fragrances that you'd think were the ones not to discontinue. Probably part of his marketing strategy though. John Frum was one of my original PAA purchases back in 2019...still listed on their site. I thought I heard/saw/watched somewhere it was one of his most popular musk fragrances, fwiw, if you're one that likes that (me in that group!). Lightly sweet musk, with a bit of peppery clean to it.

New razor and new soap…

Extremely pleased with both of it. The razor is super smooth and gentle. The soap has a wonderful scent to it. Glad I bought it.

3 relaxed and easy passes and the balm will soothe my skin.

Razor: Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72, Mfg 2021> Mid range, Excellent design, great clamping, easy to get under the nose, to me it is the almost the perfect razor. Carefree shaving mostly with excellent results.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP (1) excellent blade, sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity. My 5 Top tier blades IMO.
Soap: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore, nice Vanilla scent with mild tobacco scent + excellent lather qualities.(misted)
Brush: Yaqi Moka 24mm synthetic, Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Santa Marie del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(balm) + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a 7oclock SP blade.

Thanks Barry! The past 6 months have been very demanding with the family (sandwich generation, elderly parent & pet, plus wifey and I have two kids in their late teens ). Then...I gotta work too! Things with work and the kiddos have calmed a bit....so there's spare time again for the shaving hobby posting. Hope all is well with your and yours!

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Pomegranate & Apple Extract Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Semogue 1470.
Face Lather.
Lather : HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.1) with Cedarwood & Patchouli.
Blade: Derby Usta. (D4)
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE 89. (Kelvin)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men X-Bolt ASL + Sensitive ASB.

Early morning shave,

A fantastic shave to finish my shaving week off on a high note.

The Derby Usta/EJ DE 89 duo has been outstandingly good. Each and every shave with the Derby Usta throughout the week has been smooth comfortable, & efficient. If i didn't have such a vast amount of DE blades to use up i would put an order in for a 100 Derby Usta's instantly.

A very enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine.
