I've used all three AL13 levels of aggression for over a year now and like them all. I struggled with deciding on which one to get as my 'forever' razor until I realized that since I shave everyday it makes perfect sense to go with the Ti 22 mild. Today was my first day shaving with it and the results were just awesome! After using it for a few more days I'll share some additional findings.

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 3D Schick Type Razor and the Personna Injector PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Did it ever feel good to use one of my brother Fernando’s magnificent soaps and aftershaves this morning - his Peppermint Lime has such a beautiful scent which is exactly what it implies. The lime seems to be more dominant but you can still pick up some peppermint as well. This soap lathers so awesomely thanks to its tallow formula, there’s lots of slickness and cushion, the menthol sensation is there in force, and it’s so skin friendly. I enjoyed my massage with the Prep, and the Peppermint Lime aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful scent which somehow pairs well with the Aramis. Three glorious passes gave me an absolutely PERFECT BBS shave that was so much fun!

SE SOTD, Friday, December 23 2022

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE AC 50mm + Yaqi Milano handle - Mfg 2021> tame mid range, simple clamping system, small head parts. I very much enjoy this razor and it gets used once a week at least, very easy going shave mostly + excellent results 95%> of the time.
Blade : Schick proline p30 50mm- Sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity for a 50mm blade.(forgot to remove yesterday's blade OTD.)
Soap : Razorock The Dead Sea, very unique scent with excellent lather qualities. Very enjoyable soap scent + TDS aftershave!
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm with a Schick proline p30 blade.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Palmolive Naturals Olive & Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11137.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Monsavon Au Lait shaving Soap.
Razor: Parker 94R. (Face) - Super-Max Blue Diamond Titanium. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome) (Settings) 4-wtg. 4-xtg/atg.+pick-ups. - Personna Injector PTFE. (D1)

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub. / Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. (Christmas Eve Face & Head Shave)

As it's Christmas day tomorrow I have chosen some of my pre-Christmas presents for the shave.

Maiden shave using the recently purchased Omega 11137 boar brush.

I gave the Omega 11137 my pre-cleaning ritual a five minute soak in tepid water & pre-wash with Dettol anti-bacterial & Palmolive hand bars soap leaving it to soak for a few minutes to get rid of any manufacturing nasties, remove any loose hairs repeated the process to remove the faint natural piggy fragrance which the soap removed and finally a rinse with warm & cold water to remove any soap residue. I let the brush fully dry out for 48 hours making it ready to use.
As with most boar/natural hair brushes with regular use it'll be a great brush especially for face /dome-head lathering.

Another wonderful addition to my humble boar brush collection.

The inexpensive Monsavon Au Lait shaving soap from my first use i was swooned by it's performance and the post shave feel you get from it. Another shaving soap like MWF "The Fat" I could quite easily use with each of my shaves and be happy and content, but like us all i like variety with my shave set ups.

A wonderfully smooth 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable Christmas eve face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd The Man Cobalt EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
