Lather: Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Here my last Shave of the Year (29.12.2024)

2025 is coming closer, so this will be my last shave in 2024.

So i thought what to use to end this year „in style“. I have smoked a few bowls the last days, so Cavendish came in my mind. A rich, calming scent. This ist…

After getting up, having a cup of coffee and feeding our 3 little hungry lions it was time for the shave.

Loaded the razor, lathered up and the shave was about to start.

If you have not made any experiences with Cavendish from PAA, give it a shot. You won ´t regret it. The scent is awesome. 2,5 passes later i was left BBS. Very thoroughly and gentle. The razor has a very good balance, finding and maintaining the angle took me least than half a second.
It´s much fun shaving with it.

After rinsing my face, Witch Hazel and the wonderful smelling Cavendish Aftershave closed out this amazing shave.

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lucky Brand Citrus Mist. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Does this Biolijf Spice soap ever smell beautiful - it indeed has a spicy, exotic scent, my Plissoft Monster whipped up fantastic lather that was so thick, rich, slick, protective, and it gave me a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Pinaud Bay Rum went on with a good sting but it felt so cooling as well as nice - the scent lasts almost all day. By the way, the Biolijf soaps are from the Netherlands and a bit pricey but they’re well worth it. Another terrific three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

SE Sunday shave, December 29th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining, finish + simple clamping system.
Blade : Kai Captain Titian mild pink(4) sharp and smoooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream. Nice scent of roses 6-7/10 strength IMO. Reddish tinge to soap but does not stain brushes.
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent badger for my daily shaves!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus razor with a Kai CTMP blade. (Very enjoyable shave this morning with excellent results, one of my best SE razors with a Kai blade.)
