    Razor: Ikon Slant
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
    Brush: Lijun 24mm Finest Badger
Bowl: Buffalo Horn 5” Lather Bowl
Pre Shave Soap: Musgo Real Lime Basil Oil
Pre Shave Balm: Homemade Lime & Spearmint
    Shave Soap: Strop Shoppe Blaze
    Post: Monster Alum Block
    Aftershave: Grey Flannel ASB

Wonderful shave this morning. Everything shown above was part of my Christmas haul yesterday and as expected the products were exceptional. Due to a cold setting in the Blaze shave soap aroma seemed unscented to me but SWMBO stated it was like a nice cologne I had on, but I had just finished up my shave and rinsed and had not but on the Grey Flannel yet. So aroma must be quite nice and will have to give the Blaze another run next week. Really like how the Ikon slant mows down the whiskers and provides nice audible feedback and only after two uses of Strop Shoppe Soaps, they have moved into my top five soaps.

Prep: Warm shower, Corn Huskers Lotion
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
    Cream: TOBS Eton College
    Brush: Semogue 830
Post: Master Astringent, Corn Huskers Lotion
    Aftershave: Brut

Fantastic BBS today! Santa brought me 8 different samples of TOBS creams so I used the Eton College today. This cream has a wonderful scent. I wish I knew how to describe scents so I could tell you what it smells like, but it is wonderful. The cream performed as well as it smelled. This was my first time using a TOBS product and it really impressed me.

    Have a great day!

    Easy, comfortable DFS.
I decided to face lather the TSD Signature lanolin today, since I broke my bowl. My back up bowl is a little too small, but it has tons of history because I made it when I was twelve. The HIS brush made loads of creamy lather after a 20 second loading in the tub. My beard was ready after my warm shower and face wash using my new favorite: Shea Moisture Three Butters Wash & Scrub. My Maggard MR10 sang its way through three smooth passes. Maybe my RAD is subsiding... The heft of this razor makes shaving so easy and comfortable. After my usual cold water rinse, I applied some TSD Signature AS milk, and my face feels great.

I guess most of my shaves could be regarded as cheap shaves, but they are also great shaves. The VDH Deluxe shave soap face lathers great with any brush, but especially with my Frank Shaving finest badger. I only needed two passes with my Schick M Adjustable to get a near BBS shave. I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS. I am cool, clean, and refreshed.

What can I say - another terrific "Dedicated to a Special Friend Shave." Lately I've been using stuff which my good friends here sent me, and today was a great soap which I received from Ryan who's one of the nicest guys anyone can meet. This MITA smells so nice and has awesome lather and a wonderful cooling sensation which the 444 balm and Barbon aftershave really intensify. ;) :D

Have a good weekend, folks! :)

    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: TSD Wheat Cream-Blue Juniper
    Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim “6”
Blade: Super-Max Blue Diamond Platinum (4)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
Aftershave: TSD Blue Juniper AS & Cologne

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

Slim today. 4th shave with the BDP blade this morning. I chose the TSD Blue Juniper Cream today. The BDP started to degrade today with some tugging. I still got a good close shave. I finished with TSD Blue Juniper AS and Cologne.

    Friday:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, Crown Shaving Co. Supreme Glide Preshave lotion
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Coffee Jasmine Glycerin
    Razor: FaTip Piccolo Nickel
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (1, 2, 3)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS

Well, that wasn't very much fun. I apparently managed an ever-so-slight misalignment of the new Bic blade in the FaTip when I replaced the blade last night. The first pass was fine, but when I flipped the razor around for the XTG pass, I proceeded to shave myself bloody, with a blade that was sharp enough that the blood didn't start flowing until I was starting the third pass. Skip ahead to the Clubman splash, and imagine me doing my best "Kevin in Home Alone" impression. At least I fixed the blade alignment when I was done.

    Razor:H. J. Herskovitz 6/8
    Strop: Whipped Dog 3'
    Brush: Omega 626 Silvertip
    Lather: Cella Crema Da Barba
Shave: Two passes; DE razor touch-up
Post: Cold water rinse, Alum block, Pre De Provence Shea aftershave balm

Only a half-day at work today (some prep for weekend services). First use of the Cella Olia Di Mandorla 'Almond Oil' cream—it was like shaving with marzipan! :)
Thick, creamy lather with a killer scent. It provided a very good 'glide' for a smooth straight razor shave. A very nice, firm cream. Una rastatura superiore!
    Have a great Friday, gents!
