    Razor: iKon H20
    Blade: Gillette Dark Blue
    Brush: Thater Porter
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Kool Monsoon (compliments of Crackstar)
    A/S: Alt Innsbruck

Yesterday's shave with the iKon H20 was so nice that I reached for it again. This time, I decided to try a cream that I recently received from Jeff called Kool Monsoon. It is a great performing cream and I enjoyed an excellent shave. The Alt Innsbruck provided just the kind of wake-me-up that I needed today. [IMG]

Coffee - Folgers Original Roast w/ Irish Cream flavoured cream
Music - Dean Martin All the Hits
Prep - Shower hot enough to boil lobsters if I were holding them.
Razor - Merkur 38C Barber Pole (My others haven't arrived yet :()
    Blade - Merkur Platinum
    Brush - Fendrihan Best Badger
    Cream - Edwin Jagger Aloe
A/S - Old Spice Classic Splash

I'm finding this cream gives me a far better shave than Proraso soap ever did.

    Hot Shower
    Green Marvy Mug
    Omega Scarlatti
    AOS Lemon SC
    Lord L6
    Feather (2)
    Cool Water Rinse
    Victoria's Secret "Appletini" Body Lotion
    Pe Re Ja Colgone

Started the morning with a hot cup of coffee on the lanai and enjoyed the 66 degree weather with the cats. :happy088:

Excellent shave, I always prefer day two on a Feather, it seems to calm down a bit and not want to bite so much. Plus I finally finished off bottle # 1 of the Pe Re Ja and directly moved on to bottle #2!

Ahhh, curse this work laptop! I can't upload my picture!! :angry019:

Maybe when I get home I'll do it.

    Have a great day!

    Tuesday, December 27, 2011 - Today's the day!
    1. Prep: Hot shower; CB Super Sensitive facewash; Yardley bath bar; hand strop blade
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground something from my BIL w/ cream
    3. Lather: Dettol Cool cream - bowl lather
    4. Brush: Vulfix 2234
    5. Razor: Gem HFT
    6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (7); 3 passes
    7. Post: Cold water rinse; Osage Rub; NuSkin Aftershave Balm
The Dettol Cool cream I found at an Indian market in Atlanta along with some Godrej. I saw someone else posting that they were really looking hard for this stuff so I thought I just had to give it a go this morning. It was very, very good. A light cooling sensation akin to Bigelow/Proraso and it was super easy to lather. It gave great glide and I think it'd be almost impossible to foul up the water/product ratio. If you can find it then definitely pick it up. I think I paid $3 for it. On another note this was shave #7 on this blade and it still feels like new.

Shave Rating - Splendid! God Bless!

    Razor: Muhle R106
    Blade: Feather
    Brush: The Colonel
    Soap: MWF
    AS: Prorasso ASB

    uploadfromtaptalk1325026648216.jpg

I decided to see how well The Colonel could lather MWF. I can usually only get it to lather with a boar brush. At first I messed up with the water but after loading the brush a bit more it was perfect. I am really enjoying the brush! It is the softest badger brush I have but it isn't floppy at all. The shave was a definite DFS!
