Unable to have a relaxing save today, due to a funeral later........so it was a DFS 2 pass shave. The wilkinson sword stick is much underrated. All the benefits of tallow with lanolin.

A good decent shave this morning. I have found that if I only do 2 pass shaves (no atg) with Feather blades, I can get quite a few shaves out of them (plus it lets me shave every day). I face lathered this morning, something I rarely do due to lack of skill, but it went very well and I was happy with it! It was a good start to the day. now back to work for 3 days....LET THE CRAZINESS BEGIN!

Van Der Hagen soap ( ok nobody point fingers here but I do like it for a cheap soap it does a really great job and smells good also)
Omega badger brush (1st time in VDH and I gotta say, I liked it ALOT )

1 pass with a touch up for a DFS. No irritation or blood at all. Very pleasent shave indeed!

MWF is an excellent tallow based shaving soap.

 

No shave for me this morning. I was hoping to receive my new horsey brush and RR-XXX yesterday but I guess the mail is a bit behind which is certainly understandable. I skipped shaving this morning (which wasn't too tough since there wasn't much there after a great shave yesterday) so that I can hopefully put my new pony to work with the XXX tonight!

Decent shaves with my travel kit while I was away from home. The kit may not be quite as luxurious or varied as my usual, but it all performs very well. My only real regret is that I just don't get as rich a lather facelathering as bowl lathering, so I may tweak that aspect a bit next time I am not home. Well that and missing my classic hair grooms.

 

Thanks........it was my next door neighbour's father, He passed away while I was visiting my family before Christmas. I found out late yesteray.
