    If those blades were the Treet Classics or the Treet Black Beauties, those are carbon steel blades and like all carbon steel DE blades you have to strop them. In the case of Treets you need to strop them after the first shave to keep them from becoming dull. I am sorry you found out the hard way, like a lot of us have. I like the Treet Carbons but I realize they require higher maintenance than I am normally willing to expend.

    Ive been very fortunate with my auction site purchases, this one being my first acquisition. It has had some of the gold finish polished off but I think it makes it look cool.

    Brush = Semogue 1250
    Lather = KMF Unscented
    Post = Speick balm and splash.

    I got two small nicks but other than that I got a CCS. Since I was not active very much in the past few weeks, Happy New Year everyone.
