    The kent brush is an absolute beast at lathering creams, takes seconds:)(and it only shed 3 hairs today) This was the first time I have shaved 2days in a row for many years, (last time was with cartridge and canned goo its was not good so i stopped), Even though i am half asian I can get away with every other day, suppose I dont have too now;) DFS+ today, so close to BBS

    Saturday
    It has been a great week of Golden shaves ...
    I had fun retrieving these Gold razors I haven't used in a while and sharing them with you.
    I am going to finish the week with a razor I have never used...

    Copperhat Yellowheart Badger used to Face lather and application of Nivea Shave Cream
    Golden Schick Repeating razor equipped with new Schick Injector blade - 2Pass
    Warm rinse - Cold rinse
    50-50 mix Booster Iced Lime/Osage Rub
    Finished with Vintage Old Spice Lime Cologne

    Not a Bad shave...
    (Think I will put this razor back in the display cabinet tho)

    RAZOROCK CLASSIC( I dont think I like this )
    Gillette super speed with ASTRA blade ( difinitely dont like these......ouch!)
    I'm gonna have to look into a cream or balm to use that doesnt dry out my face as bad:(

    It is an excellent lotion. I found it at Sally Beauty Supply, but I recently saw it at Wal-Mart here in Lakeland.

    I always keep a bottle on hand, it's not greasy and absorbs rather quickly.

    I think we actually have a Sally Beauty Supply here locally in My part of Canada, and Walmart has infected every part of the world.
    Will make a great stocking stuffer

    PS: Non greasy is a requirement, there are too many cheap products that seam to use shop grease as a base

    Just finished my 2nd ever headshave with some proraso and a new personna platinum blade in my gillette super speed. Very nice bba shave with only 1 pass and a few spot touches.

    Saturday afternoon shave:
    Music: Led Zeppelin on shuffle
    Prep: Hot shower, facial scrub, conditioner
    Pre-shave: Skipped it today!
    Lather: Art of Shaving Sandalwood
    Brush: Art of Shaving Fine Badger
    Razor: Joseph Allen & Sons NON*XLL
    Post: Warm rinse, styptic, Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel, cold rinse, Art of Shaving Sandalwood Balm
    Result: CCS over most of the face. Not a single nick or weeper today, hurray! Lather was a bit dry. I've been face lathering with mixed results. Bowl lathering has been a disaster so far but I think I just haven't been spending enough time whipping it up. Going to pick up a better bowl and give that another go tomorrow!
