This Dammy is leaving a path of near perfect shaves in it's wake...
I can see why there is so much respect for these razors...They deliver such a close smooth shave but in a super cool and low impact demeanor which can be misleading...Until you rinse and see just how close the shave really is...
They are a unique experience...I'll take it!

Last night's shave.

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash, Sasquatch Golden Moss bath soap.
Brush: Turkish #6 Brush.
Razor: '62 Gillette Slim set on 6 for the first pass,3 for the second.
Blade: Personna Lab.
Soap: Mike's Natural Barbershop Stick.
Post: cold water rinse, Barbon AS.

Whenever I use this set up, I get great shaves. Mike's is my absolute favorite soap. It lathers really well and gives me the best skincare of anything that I use. I'd be fine with this set up forever. But I still love my menthol and won't give that up. My Slim is my most effective razor and never let's me down. I had a small weeper on the left side of my neck, but the Barbon healed it right away.

Went a little too far today chasing the BBS...
Thanks to the instant hot water dispense I was able to get a nice warm lather for all four passes, but I should have have stopped at 3. I'm going to pull the Col. Conk from rotation for awhile too, I need to work on my soap lathering with a "friendlier" soap.

Today's shave could have been better, but it still nice and I came out with a DFS.

 

Have you tried adding a bit of the M-bomb to your Mike's Barbershop?

Today I had a Shaving Day with Derby Products..
Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Isana Men Badger
Shaving Cream: Derby Lavender cream 100ml
Razor: Wilkinson Sword DE Classic
Blade: Derby Extra (1)
Post: Cold water splash, Tariş Lavender Cologne

I had a nice shave, this Derby blade worked fine on my DE razor but Rapira blades are better on it. Derby's shaving cream is thick and intense and it's scent is quite natural, not like other artificial scents in some shaving creams. Overall, they're fine.
