Got some of these a long time ago, because I misunderstood a recommendation to get Shark blades. This is the first time I've tried them. Rougher shave than I'm used to, but still no nicks, cuts, or weepers, and the end result was okay. Cold water rinse King of Shaves Kinexium Shave Oil. Noticed some whiskers I'd missed. Rather than lather up again, I spread some of this on, and got rid of them. Ogallala Bay Rum AS. Still had some left in a sample bottle, and thought what the heck. Now I'm regretting it. Am I going to be smelling this &#@!@!! all day? What was I thinking? Oh well. Poured the rest down the sink, though.

This week has been so much better than last week's shaves with the Lord blade. Anyone else find Ogallala soap to be a bit of a different animal? I do like the Bay Rum & Sandalwood scent. But the lather... I've heard it described as lumpy. Despite whipping up a bit different than my other soaps, it provides enough cushion and slickness for a good shave.
