    Wednesday:

    Omega Silvertip
Ming Shi TTO/7 AM day 3
Proraso Aloe & Green Tea S/S
    Arko Aqua A/S gel
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Aramis EDT

It's time for a blade change the next time I use this razor, but I still managed to get a very close and comfortable shave. ;) :D

  3. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    Shavemac 22mm silvertip
    fatboy/feather
    J Peterman SC
    Lucky Tiger AS
    Storer 'Monk' EdP

A repeat of yesterday's excellent shave. This cream is soooo slick, and the scent's not bad either. The fatboy waltzed effortlessly over my face, and left me with BBS results.

2nd shave with the 48-50 ss and a feather, interesting combo. Very mild shave. No razor burn, but over all warm feeling. I think I used a tad too much pressure.

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
[*]Brush: Ever Ready 300 refurbished with silvertip badger knot by The Knotty Badger
      [*]Cream: SCS Fairway Rose
[*]Razor: '05 Gillette Old Type with Double Ring Handle
      [*]Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (shave 9)
[*]Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
[*]A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner & SCS Savory Rose ASM
[*]EDT: Nine Flags Patcham from Hong Kong

[*]Result: Hit it right with the cream today. Perfection that provided great cushion and even better slickness. BBS with not a hint of blood. The SharpEdge just keeps on shaving. Nine Flags brings back youthful memories.

    WEDNESDAY

A chilly, rainy day in the Carolinas calls for menthol:

    Muhle R89 / Wilkinson
    Omega Boar Brush

    Proraso Green SC
    Proraso post w/ice cold towel
    Aqua Velva AS

    Merkur Futur
    Wilkinson Sword (d2)
    T&H Trafalgar S/C

    Boss A/S Splash
    Nivea Sensitive A/S Balm

I'm more and more sure that I'll have to get a trafalgar scented aftershave really! That scent really does it for me.

If for some reason I could only have one cream, I think I'd be plenty happy with the J. Peterman. Unlike Martin I've hit the sweet spot with this cream both times I've tried it and I've been using a normal amount of product and getting more lather than usual for creams like the TOBS. And I smell great!
