    Hot Shower
    Van der Hagen Deluxe
    Omega, 80005
Gem 1912, loaded with a Gem
    Ice Cold Rinse
    EJ Sea Buckthorn

....hhmmm, wasn't sure if we launched Fat Tuesday or Woolfat Wednesday or what, so...
Went with Vaner der Hagen instead..
That Gem can be too much of a good thing, especially coming off two weeks of
completely brainless BBS shaves with a Fatboy.
Super Close, but not as comfortable as the Fatboy.

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Voskhod day 4
Palmolive Cool SC :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing
    Svoboda AS Balsam
    JHL Cologne

This was a 5 blades super-duper, cracky-wacky, ticky-tacky BBS shave in just 2 passes. The Palmolive Cool cream, which is used in Balkan countries, such as Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, and Romania is the identical delightful face-freezer as the version from Italy. The only differences are the tube is dark blue and 65 grams, whereas the Italian version is 100 grams and green. The Svoboda balsam is a real thing of beauty. ;) :D

-don't know if Fat Tuseday is official yet but thought I'd observe it
anyhow as it is way ahead in the poll. Great Shave either way. First
time I've used the Fat in my Moss Scuttle-it turned out some incredilbe
    and hot lather.

    Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: I Coloniali Mango Oil Shave Soap
    A/S: Mr. Taylor Splash

The I Coloniali shave soap produced a super slick lather which resulted in an excellent shave. The Sticky/Iridium combo continued to work its magic and the Mr. Talor, as always, was a fine finish.

    Feb, 2.

Just moved my puck of Fitjar Miklagard soap from mug to soap container (round plastic food container with nice cap). Desided to give it a ride to help it feel more comfortable in new place.

    Merkur 23C/Blue Personna#3
    Vie-Long horsehair brush
    Ceramic bowl
    Fitjar Miklagard soap
    Cold water splash
    Fitjar Miklagard ASB

Nice and smooth all the way! After some point you begin to remember bad shaves, not good ones. As almost all shaves are good...

    Yup.

I'd like to start by giving a huge thanks to GregInDallas. I mentioned that my Rolls Razor handle was frozen, and barely were the words out of my mouth when BAM! He sent me a perfect one! So I got my Rolls out, honed it, stropped it, and did about half a pass, but figured it was more of a weekend style first shave, I'll revisit it when I've got more time to really get into it. But thanks again Greg, I appreciate it and am really looking forward to it.

So next up on my "to try" list was one of my SE razors, since I had just picked up a pack of blades at CVS. I've only used one SE a couple times previously, a 1924 Ever Ready, and this one had a very similar feel/result: I love the feel of it while I'm shaving, but as soon as I stopped - Woah nelly! Blood everywhere. I guess I gotta learn to respect it more. I'll stick it out for the week. 2/5

And yes, I did use witch hazel and 3 AS balms.

    Dark Roast with cream
    Hot Shower
    MWF, Belated Fat Tuesday!!
    Semogue, Custom Boar
Gillette Twist TTO, with BRW conversion
    Blue Bird, Day I
    Ice Cold Rinse
    Kiehl's

In this world of fancy options, I underestimate the awesome shave
    The Twist can provide...
No fanfare, no irritation, three passes + touch-up and
I have an awesome clean shave.
The Semogue Custom Boar has broken in nicely..
Easily builds and holds enough lather for three plus shaves.

MWF.. what can I say..

After a week of using the DE, I was hoping that my straight skills would magically improve to guru status, but unfortunately it hasn't happened. I did receive a decent 3 pass shave.

    Have a great day all.
